Cessation, attainment, and realization occur simultaneously. Cessation means abandoning the notion of clinging to one's own awareness as something real, correct, and true. Attainment means attaining the basis for manifesting luminosity. Realization means realizing that one's own awareness is like an illusion. There are three types of realization: the teaching of attaining Buddhahood in this very life, attaining the Samadhi of the Treasury of Space, and receiving the empowerment of the Buddha in a dream, where it is said that the empowerment substance will appear in one's hand upon awakening. Like an image in a mirror, understand this illusory body. Colors are like a rainbow, pervading like the moon in water. Liberated from existence and non-existence, like a rainbow in the sky. May you realize this body, in the perfect Sambhogakaya, intangible like the moon in water. All phenomena are impermanent, this body is inexhaustible to behold, and so it is with the Vajra body. The Tummo Yoga of the Three Families Wrathful Mother The Tummo Yoga of the Three Families Wrathful Mother. Homage to all Lamas! There are three types of Tummo: Karma Tummo, Blazing Tummo, and Mahamudra Tummo. The first is: straightening the body like an arrow, constricting a portion like a tied knot, and crossing like a chessboard. Four fingers below the navel, there is an Adhuti channel (藏文:རྩ་ཨ་དྷཱུ་ཏི་,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:,汉语字面意思:channel Adhuti), naturally filled with fire. Visualize it like a line; when not practicing, it exists as usual; when practicing, visualize it as filled with fire. There are three signs: the sign of the channels opening, the sign of the air entering the Avadhuti channel, the external sign is the lightness of the body, and the internal sign is the smoothness of the breath. Internally, it is the sign of awareness, where ignorance ceases and wisdom arises. From this arises warmth: external warmth arises in the body, lice do not bite, complexion brightens, internal warmth arises in the body, expelling parasites, the body is without inner and outer, both inner and outer feel comfortable, warmth arises. Continue to practice until the signs of warmth appear. Blazing Tummo is: straightening the body, naturally constricting like a tied knot, and crossing straight like a chessboard. If you want to clearly understand the fire of wisdom, visualize the flames burning fiercely until they reach the Brahma aperture. There are three degrees: the degree to which the channels can be used, the body is light and does not feel present; the degree to which the breath can be used, knowing that appearances and existence are mind; the degree to which the mind can be used, realization manifests as wisdom. Before reaching the degree, constrict and elevate. After reaching the degree, apply the Mahamudra. Mahamudra Tummo is: whatever you do... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Do not fixate on the result, i.e., do not fixate on the root, intention, and the three. Do not control the wind, do not fixate. Do not fixate on the fire. Entering without depending on others, arising without depending on others, appearances like a mirror without depending on others. Equality emptiness without depending on others, experiencing bliss individually without depending on others. Do it diligently, enter and transform into great luminosity. That is the meaning of Madhyamaka. Practice and conduct should be taken as the path, and if not separated from the meaning of Mahamudra, dreams will only manifest the meaning of Dzogchen. Determine the non-difference of dreams, appearances, and Bardo. How to know? Practicing Tummo will produce signs of heat, it is impossible not to generate heat. Then, it is impossible not to stop conceptual thoughts. Then, it is impossible not to arise wisdom. Then, it is impossible not to become a Buddha. The path of Tummo in stages. Upadesha on Generating the Mind of Supreme Bodhichitta Homage to the Lamas! The oral instructions on the Mind of Bodhi are: Gather the four limbs, rely on the ocean and the rock's belly and back. The tip of the tongue flutters like a great banner, the eyes turn upwards like puddles. Draw the lower wind upwards with Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体: हुं,梵文罗马拟音: hūṃ,汉语字面意思: Hūṃ) to the heart. Shake the body like a tigress jumping, act like a dog vomiting 'Hag Hag' (hāg hāg). Wave the limbs like a preta, the two nostrils above, the door of the Rakshasa below, said to be sealed with wind. That is the instruction on grasping. The instruction on blocking the channels is: Wring the water vessel left and right three times. Like a dog vomiting three times, like a lion strutting three times 'Siss Siss' (sig sig). To pervade the body: On top of the left arm, twist the throat knot three times and place it. It will pervade the entire body. The profound instruction of the precious Lama Dakpo Lhaje! This was written by the nephew of the Lord himself, the Venerable Choskyi Je, Sonam Lhundrup Zla-od Gyaltsen Pal Zangpo (bsod nams lhun grub zla 'od rgyal mtshan dpal bzang pos), at Shanti Mountain to spread the teachings of the Kagyu lineage. This letter of knowledge was completed from Ei Tri Phang (e'i khri 'phang nas) by Konchok Kyab (dkon mchog skyabs kyis) with the tip of his finger. May auspiciousness increase! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
