It was clearly stated by Khyentse Wangpo, who possessed the seven transmissions: \"Vimalamitra in the southern part of Kham, In the year of the Monkey, one named Dharma Vajra will appear, Having conquered the battlefield of obstacles and demons, He will do the most excellent work for the essential teachings.\" And, from the secret letter, the heart essence, a part of the mind treasure: \"In the year of the Monkey, one named Dharma Vajra will appear, He will establish the lifeline of the teachings in the Rudam valley, He will widely spread the teachings of explanation and practice.\" And so on, all the prophecies and predictions of the deities and lamas who possess unobstructed wisdom eyes unanimously agreed that in the year 1872 (the Iron Monkey year of the fifteenth Rabjung), in the same birthplace as the first incarnation, in the direction of Riwoché in Kham (present-day Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province), as the son of father Gonpo Gyal and mother Sonam Yangtso, with hundreds of auspicious and wonderful signs, a thousand-petaled lotus of perfect marks newly blossomed. From the very beginning, he possessed bodhicitta and innate wisdom, like flowers and fragrance, naturally possessing the immeasurable qualities of a son of the Buddhas. At the age of four, in the Wood Pig year called 'Holding Action Increasing', in the auspicious month when the Teacher Thubpa Wangpo defeated the heretical sects with great miraculous displays, on the morning of the tenth day of the waxing moon, the auspicious festival when Orgyen Chenpo subdued the gods and demons in Samye Chimphu and entrusted the seals of the profound treasures, filling Tibet with treasures, as the sun of universal benefit rose from the peak of the eastern mountains, his two feet, with wheels of a thousand spokes, were first placed on the throne of the great Rudam monastery. At that time, the people living there lined up in rows, holding umbrellas, banners, streamers, and various flags, as well as the seven royal treasures, the eight auspicious symbols, and countless offerings." } ] ============================================================

He was invited to the great monastery, the Joyful Garden of Thubten Yongdu. The Fourth Ponlop Rinpoche, Jigme Chosying Oser, Khenchen Pema Vajra, Shechen Pema Gyurme Gyatso, Gyarong Choktrul Kunzang Thekchok Dorje, and other great beings who uphold the teachings, as well as the steward officials of the Queen Mother of Dege, the secretary of Chabdra Gyalwa Rinpoche, and all the monastic and lay communities, enthroned Jigme on the high golden throne. Many scholars of the five sciences and holders of the Tripitaka offered mandalas related to the five perfections and expounded various assemblies of sutras, tantras, and shastras, adorning the ranks of scholars. At the same time, they widely opened the gates of generous giving, such as abundant offerings and gifts, and held a grand festival that delighted the people for several days, immersing everyone in the glory of joy. Thereafter, he successively received many profound Dharma teachings, from the great Khenpo Yongdzin Pema Thukchhen Rinpoche Jigme Choskyi Wangpo, from the Bodhisattvacharyavatara to the profound symbols of the Guhyagarbha Tantra. From Khenchen Pema Vajra, he received numerous empowerments and tantric explanations, mainly of the Nyingma Kama transmitted from the previous Rinpoche and Gyalse Shenpen. From Jamgon Lodro Thaye, he received the Rinchen Terdzö. From Adzom Drukpa Drodrul Dorje, he received the profound instructions of the Mengak Sangwa Nyingtik. From Gyarong Kunzang Thekchok Dorje, he received the empowerments and guidance of the old and new Kama and Terma transmitted from the previous Rinpoche. In short, he heard and received common studies such as grammar, logic, crafts, and medicine, as well as the uncommon Tripitaka and the explanations, commentaries, and empty discussions of the four or six tantras. Because the wisdom of the previous Rinpoche was clear, realization arose naturally without the need for diligent study, so he mastered the great Dharma treasury of the Mind Treasure of the Space Treasury. In particular, he revered Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo as the supreme crown ornament and received all the profound Dharma teachings of maturation, liberation, and practical guidance, especially all the essential points of the upper and lower parts of the Luminous Great Perfection Heart Essence, so there was no need to rely on intellectual speculation and effort.
