For Shakyamuni Buddha, in the mandala of the retinue of beings abiding in the lands where Bodhisattvas practice with devotion, and noble Shravakas, adorned with the thirty-two major marks and eighty minor marks, abiding in the manner of renunciation, and also for the sake of beautifully manifesting various forms in accordance with the respective bodies of the five classes of beings, it is said to possess a beautiful form. These are the perfection of self-benefit. I prostrate to the Buddha who is like a wish-fulfilling gem! This shows the perfection of benefiting others. Here, the Buddha, the Bhagavan, is like a wish-fulfilling tree or a wish-fulfilling jewel. For example, the wish-fulfilling tree and the wish-fulfilling jewel, even without the slightest conceptual thought, if someone with fortune obtains or possesses them, the blind can see, the deaf can hear, the insane can regain their senses, and so on. Other qualities include being warm and gentle in cold times, and cool in hot and scorching times. Just as all desired and wished-for things are accomplished as desired and are certain to be accomplished, so too, with various forms of the three bodies, he accomplishes the benefit of all sentient beings as desired. Therefore, he is called the Buddha who is like a wish-fulfilling gem. Thus, the Buddha Jewel is shown with five meanings. The Dharma Jewel is shown with four meanings. What are they? Namely, the perfection of the cause, the perfection of the result, the perfection of nature, and the perfection of benefiting others. It is said, "The Dharmadhatu is the common cause," thus showing the perfection of the cause. Here, the word "dhatu" is derived from the Indian word धातु (dhātu, dhatu). धातु (dhātu, dhatu) translated into Tibetan is "dbyings" (界). The meaning of "dbyings" is the meaning of "cause." So, what is the meaning of "cause" of "dbyings"? It refers to the emptiness and selflessness of the nature of all phenomena. How is the emptiness of nature the cause? Because by focusing on the emptiness and selflessness of the Dharmadhatu, from realizing it come the teachings of the twelve categories of scriptures, the path of the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, and the resultant qualities such as powers and fearlessness.

In short, because it is the basis for the arising of all qualities, the Dharma is called realm or cause. It is said that there are twelve scriptures, which shows the perfection of the fruit. The twelve scriptures, such as the Sutra Pitaka, are the realm of Dharma, because they are the fruit of the similar cause of realization, so they show the perfection of the fruit. "The nature of Dharma is without arising or ceasing, and is free from elaboration." This is showing the perfection of self-nature, the nature of all Dharmas, from the very beginning, is unborn and unceasing, and is free from all elaborations. If it is truly unborn, then cessation is also impossible. Because it is the nature that is free from all elaborations such as permanence and annihilation, existence and non-existence of arising and ceasing, it is shown by "The nature of Dharma is without arising or ceasing, and is free from elaboration." "By focusing on that, all qualities are accomplished, I prostrate to the excellent Dharma, the cause of goodness." It is said in the scripture that this is showing the perfection of benefiting others, showing that the realm of Dharma is without elaboration, and by relying on the twelve scriptures that arise from realizing it, and by familiarizing oneself with it, then all the collections of qualities of the world and beyond will be naturally accomplished. Therefore, by focusing on it, all qualities are accomplished. Like this, the basis or object of accomplishment of qualities is the cause of obtaining all goodness, therefore it is said to prostrate to the Dharma which is the cause of all goodness, like this the Dharma Jewel is shown with four meanings. The Sangha Jewel is shown with five meanings, what are they? That is, the perfection of cause, the perfection of fruit, the perfection of benefiting others, the perfection of benefiting oneself, and the perfection of self-nature, like this it is shown in five ways. Among them, "The obscurations of afflictions and the obscurations of knowledge, in order by the antidote," it is said in the scripture, this is showing the perfection of cause. If all obscurations are summarized, they can be summarized into two types: the obscuration of afflictions and the obscuration of knowledge. Among them, the obscuration of afflictions refers to the six afflictions such as desire, hatred, and ignorance, and the twenty near afflictions. The obscuration of knowledge is not of the nature of afflictions,
