If I am attached to my possessions, all will be used by others; the honey that bees diligently collect is clearly used by others. Those who wish to befriend the wicked will only end up falling; like a tree eaten by water from its roots, even if it stands, it is like falling. If one relies on great protection, even if small, one can become strong; the bird that relies on Mount Meru is said to turn golden. Tall and beautiful buildings have no crookedness; not seeking faults benefits the mute. Those who have the fruit of practice, even the gods are pleased with their friends. Many people gather in one place, holding power for enjoyment, but due to greed, they eventually decline, like insects separated from grain. Those who are unclear about everything, colluding with the wicked, even if they gain high positions, they will lose them, like insects going on top of wine dregs. Bad land, bad friends, and bad wives, bad servants and bad kings, the wise should abandon such things, and they will always find happiness. Even if a wise person is alone, they can accomplish supreme wishes; the deer king, with the strength of a single beast, can crush the pride of elephant herds. When many gather in one place, if one is among them and is looked down upon, thinking, 'What use is he here?' they are regarded as inferior. Those who wish to accomplish their own benefit should always seek great protection; once they enter the great ocean, no one will mention their name. People of evil nature, even if they are very friendly, are like the flame of a butter lamp; they do not abandon their nature. Those who harbor deep hatred, each with a mind to seek opportunity, even if they die and are reborn, deep hatred will still follow them. For example, snakes and mongooses, crows and owls, buffaloes and horses, whatever deeds were done in previous lives, why do they not appear now? Those who rely on anger do not even care for their own relatives; the wise, without careful consideration, should not rashly become angry. Whoever has the water of patience can extinguish the fire of anger, possessing the supreme method of taming, how can that person have enemies? To attain the supreme state of Yungdrung (藏文:གཡུང་དྲུང་,梵文天城体:卐,梵文罗马拟音:Svástika,汉语字面意思:吉祥海云相), if one does not diligently work on the foundation of goodness, whether manifest or unmanifest, it is like a bubble in water.

Do not spread the secret words in your heart to the wicked. Like a venomous snake enraged, it may harm you because of it. Whichever wise person, all their actions are primarily based on Dharma, possessing splendor, they will undoubtedly be happy in this life and the next. One who possesses skillful means and rituals will not be deceived by enemies. If rituals are applied well, even poison will turn into nectar. How can one who has conquered enemies and is detached from worldly affairs avoid the suffering of the mind? Entering the battlefield with broken weapons will result in defeat, even if not devoured by demons. One who has no friends to help will find it difficult to destroy the enemy's army. Even burning a small amount of thicket requires the help of the wind. What is the difference between a rich person who is not beneficial to oneself and others and a miser? Fire meeting firewood will extinguish after burning the firewood. Embracing and sleeping with a woman possessed by another is like riding on the back of a drunken elephant without an iron hook, which is dangerous. One who constantly pays prostitutes, like the tributaries of an autumn river, their wealth will diminish. A wise person with gentle conduct achieves the benefit of the body. A water bird with gentle conduct catches fish with its actions. Wealth acquired through reason and benefiting all beings in the world will be respected by everyone in the world like a garland on the head. In this world, which wise person, desiring to pierce enemies into the heart, must always possess all kinds of merits. Some people want to destroy others, but the fire of anger burns their own minds. Those who do not value merits will gradually decline. For those who have no wisdom of their own, what is the use of scriptures? For those who have lost their eyes, what is the use of a mirror? Feeding milk to a snake only increases its venom. Advising the wicked only increases their anger and does not pacify them. People with excellent merits attract hearts and minds. The wise use the iron hook of merit to guide and tame the elephant that has gone astray. All the glory and wealth of the world are like being able to obtain them with the mind. A hero acts without hesitation.
