After calculating, pound it into fluff and boil it in sixteen times the amount of water. When the juice remains one-fourth, knead it into a paste. Then add flavoring agents mentioned earlier in the root text, such as nutmeg, camphor, and musk. Divide them equally with the total amount of the four root incense ingredients. Grind and weigh them as before. For flavoring, calculate the amount of one spoonful, grind it into powder, apply and mix it. Then, to fumigate with smoke, also knead the root incense ingredients with perfume. Make them into balls and apply them to the inner wall of a new earthenware pot, making it slightly damp. Pour unextinguished fire into another earthenware pot. Let the incense smoke permeate above it, then place the previous pot upside down on top of it, fumigating without letting the smoke escape. There are four incense mixtures for fumigation: bamboo yellow, calamus, Priyangu, crocodile claws, Acorus calamus, rue, and brown sugar. This is said to be the best incense. It is said that these should be equally divided, ground into powder, and mixed with brown sugar to fumigate. To bless with fragrant flowers, mix various fragrant flowers such as jasmine, white sandalwood, and fragrant orpine with camphor, soak them, and bless with fragrance.
