When the outside is hot and the inside of the body is cold, three diseases arise. To eliminate wind disease, massage the body with oil and wash with boiled medicinal water. To eliminate wind disease, administer sesame oil, and also perform fumigation and bathing. Food should not be too hot, and should be moderately mixed without sweetness or sourness. To warm the stomach, eat some fried dough, butter, fat, and honey. Eat barley and rice porridge with butter, and warm zan (roasted barley flour) with meat. Drink a little chang (barley beer), but avoid water and streams. Do not stay or go in damp places, and do not let rain wet the body. When strength and vigor are exhausted and tired, eat some fried dough. Avoid restlessness day and night, do not sleep during the day, and avoid laziness and excessive sleep. The place should be dry and not windy, and sit on a cushion spread out on a cool platform. The two months of autumn are the time when bile arises, so diseases are prone to occur. Administer cooling and sweet purgatives, and also draw blood with bloodletting as appropriate. Always eat medicines that are bitter, sweet, and cooling. The water at this time is non-toxic and clean, and it is beneficial to wash and drink it. Foods such as rice, barley, beans, honey, sugar, and meat should be eaten and drunk, which are sweet, light, butter, milk, and so on. Do not drink heavy, strong-tasting chang, and do not get drunk. Do not eat fat and sesame oil, and do not go or stay in dewy places. Rely on hot food and places, and pleasant friends. Wash the body with lukewarm water and wear clean clothes. Apply ornaments and fragrances to the body, and avoid restlessness day and night. The place should not be too warm, and should not be hit by hail, and should be in a cool place. The four months of early and late winter are cold outside and hot inside, causing phlegm and other diseases. Wear warm clothes and avoid dampness and wind, and also bask in the sun. Eat meat broth, bone broth, butter, fat, and oil to satiety. Eat sweet, sour, salty, and warm foods in large quantities, and eat fresh grains. Drink various kinds of chang appropriately, and it is easy to do tiring work. Break up the body and exercise, and occasionally apply and massage sesame oil on the head and body. After that, wash with water boiled with medicines such as amla. The place should be warm, and stay in a warm room with fire and thick cushions. In early summer, when it is hot, and in late summer, when it is windy, do not administer purgatives. In early and late winter, when it is cold and old, avoid emetics and bloodletting. Do not bathe or fumigate in the two winters and early summer, even if you are afflicted with disease. Even so, you need to know what kind of body and what kind of disease, and use appropriate methods. Wind bile

For nihilists, avoid all three actions that contradict Dharma and reason. Reflect on past actions, promote strengths and avoid weaknesses, and be cautious about future events. Do everything without dust, do not belittle yourself, and abandon excessive desires. Do not be indulgent because of arrogance and youth, understand the extent of your abilities, and do not feel frustrated because you are not as good as others. Stay away from bad friends, be close to good teachers, and practice the ten virtues such as giving. Be honest and trustworthy, behave properly, do not harm others, and be kind to people. Always think of gods and kings, listen to their teachings, and act according to their wishes. Even if the king's son and the wound are small, do not despise them, and treat them with caution. Do not deceive others with hypocritical behavior, and abide by laws and customs. Do not discuss the faults of others, do not be competitive, and do not argue with others about Dharma. Do not walk in front of monks, teachers, and parents, and try your best to serve them. Do not tease practitioners, ascetics, sentient beings, and strange things, and do not play with snakes. Do not sleep in unknown forests, next to stupas, at intersections, on top of caves, and in slaughterhouses and cemeteries, where many sentient beings have been killed. Do not bathe or wash in dangerous lakes and good springs. Do not cut down large trees of stones, trees, and temples, and do not destroy rocks. Do not cross the shadows of stupas, prayer flags, water offerings, and mandalas. Do not destroy corpses, tormas, arrows, fire offering pits, and ash pits. When the sky is dim, the sun is half down, and blood red appears, do not eat, drink, read, or write, and do not be lazy at work. Do not stare at the sun and other luminous objects for a long time. Do not sleep at the door of a temple, and do not live on ridges and in canyons. Do not trust strange knowledge, and do not listen to women's words. Do not tease old women, do not show off your skills in competitions, and do not speak tiredly. Avoid loud and long laughter, and strong smoke.
