Not being cut off, those who have dwelling and regularity are called that. This is because they are accustomed to fulfilling their aspirations, so in all times, all places, and all locations, their aspirations will be fulfilled. Like a wish-fulfilling jewel, for those who are skilled at making all beings prosperous, it is called the accumulation of wealth of all Bodhisattvas, merit and wisdom are extremely complete, inexhaustible, and engaged in the cause of making all beings prosperous. The merit and wisdom of all Bodhisattvas is the accumulation that becomes the wealth of all benefits, it is the accumulation of accomplishment, therefore the accumulation of wealth of all Bodhisattvas is merit and wisdom. Because it can correctly accomplish the benefit of others in all aspects, it is extremely complete. Because it will not be interrupted at all times, it is inexhaustible, and engaged in the cause of making all beings prosperous. In short, Bodhisattvas, in order to accumulate the accumulation of merit and wisdom, therefore they are like wish-fulfilling jewels, constantly making all sentient beings prosperous, that is how they do it. For those who are skillful in not dwelling in Samsara and Nirvana, it is said that they have obtained the supreme wisdom and skillful means of all Bodhisattvas. Wisdom refers to the wisdom that is based on Suchness. Skillful means is considered here to be great compassion. Supreme means the best. It is both noble and supreme, thus combining the words, obtaining the supreme nobility of both wisdom and skillful means. Among them, wisdom does not dwell in Samsara, and compassion does not dwell in Nirvana. By the continuous practice of the Bodhisattva who correctly shows the door of Samsara and Nirvana, the fruit of these two, wisdom and skillful means, is shown. The word continuous is connected to each word separately, the practice of the Bodhisattva who correctly shows the door of Samsara is continuous, and the Bodhisattva who correctly shows the door of Nirvana

It should be added under the name "Cessation of Conduct." With loving-kindness, the conduct of a Bodhisattva, which truly shows the door to samsara, such as being born, being young, and dwelling among the retinue of consorts, etc., will not cease. With wisdom, the conduct of a Bodhisattva, which truly shows the door to nirvana, such as manifesting, etc., will not cease. By being skilled in manifestly accomplishing meditation and so forth, it is said that one is skilled in truly showing all the meditations, liberations, samadhis, attainments, supernormal knowledges, and all the activities of manifest play of wisdom of all Bodhisattvas. Meditations refer to the first [dhyana] and so forth. Liberations are eight. Samadhis refer to the Akashagarbha and so forth. Attainments refer to the nine successive attainments. Supernormal knowledges refer to the divine eye and so forth. Wisdom refers to that which focuses on Suchness. Because of the play of those, those themselves are the manifest play. Those themselves are all activities, the characteristics of the conduct of mind. Those who are skilled in showing them are the skillful ones. Physical miracles are of two kinds: truly showing simultaneously going to the mandala of the retinue of all Tathagatas; and truly showing the supremely beautiful body that is in accordance with discipline. Truly showing going to the mandala of the retinue of the Tathagatas is for the purpose of causing the speech of the holy Dharma to arise, for the purpose of truly upholding the wheel of Dharma, and for the purpose of making offerings and service to the Tathagata. Among these, with respect to causing the speech of the holy Dharma to arise, because all Bodhisattvas have obtained power over the strength of miraculous power, without having to deliberately act, in a single instant of thought, they go to the mandala of the retinue of all Tathagatas, and are called the person of the speech that leads the way. Miraculous power is going. Its strength is power. Being in control of that means obtaining it. For that very reason, those do not need to be deliberately acted upon.
