And, with the power of solemnly undertaking and manipulating, strive to increase diligence. The faults of oneself and others, countless ones should be destroyed by oneself, even for just one fault, one should exhaust countless eons in it. For the beginning of eradicating faults, do not look at oneself just a little bit. The merits of oneself and others, many should be accomplished by oneself, no matter where, even if one merit is practiced with countless eons. With the Vajra Banner ritual, firmly begin and meditate. First, after observing the situation, either begin or do not begin. Not beginning is the best, but once started, do not retreat. Just like wanting the fruit of pleasure from playing, what kind of work is there to do with this? One should be attached to that work, not be tired of that work, and be happy. For the work that will become unhappy later, give it up immediately once you realize it. Even if that is very complete, one should abandon the thought of wanting to do it again and again. When fighting with an old enemy, just like swords clashing on the battlefield, one should avoid the weapons of afflictions and observe destroying the enemies of afflictions. If a sword falls on the battlefield, just like quickly picking it up out of fear, similarly, if the weapon of mindfulness is lost, quickly pick it up remembering the fear of hell. Just as the movement and arrival of cotton are controlled by the wind, similarly, wealth is controlled by desire, and being controlled, it is quickly accomplished. Having generated diligence in this way, the mind abides in samadhi. A person with a scattered mind abides between the fangs of afflictions. The body and mind, through solitude, will not produce distractions. Therefore, one should abandon the world and completely abandon conceptual thoughts. Because of attachment and obtaining, etc., because of craving, one does not abandon the world, therefore completely abandon these, and wise people should examine these. The equality of oneself and others, one should strive to cultivate from the very beginning. Because of treating happiness and suffering equally, protect all beings as you protect yourself. Knowing that oneself has faults and that others have ocean-like qualities, therefore completely abandon self-grasping and cultivate accepting others. Those who want to quickly save themselves and others should practice this secret and supreme practice of exchanging oneself and others. Therefore, obscurations

In order to dispel (obstacles). Gathering the mind from the wrong path, towards the correct object, constantly, the mind should be firmly held. Thus, all of those, were spoken by the Bhagavan for the sake of wisdom. Therefore, those who desire nirvana and happiness, should generate wisdom. Ultimate truth and conventional truth, these are the two truths. Ultimate truth is not the object of mental consciousness, mental consciousness and words are conventional. In this, two kinds of worlds are seen, yogis and likewise ordinary people. Among them, yogis, with the world, can also refute ordinary worldly people. With the difference of higher and higher, yogis can also refute. I, with the Bodhisattva conduct, entering into the various contemplations of practice, with this virtue, may all sentient beings, enter into the Bodhisattva conduct. In all directions, bodies and minds, however many there are of suffering and sickness, may they, with my merit, obtain the ocean of bliss and joy. May they obtain the bliss of the Buddhas, may the supreme bliss not diminish. May sentient beings obtain the unsurpassed, constant and uninterrupted bliss. In the world realms, the hells, all that exist, in those, may sentient beings, rejoice in the bliss of happiness. To the Dharma-protecting guru of Serling (金洲), after the devoted disciple Kamalashila and, Dipankara requested, the summary of the thirty-six meanings divided from the main eleven chapters of Entering the Bodhisattva's Conduct, is separately arranged and completed. The Pandit Dipankara and, the translator Tsultrim Gyalwa (ཚུལ་ཁྲིམས་རྒྱལ་བ་) translated, edited, and finalized it.
