Those blood-stained things that create obstacles, not even knowing the path, how could they enter the city? Likewise, these earlier perfections without eyes, because they have no object, cannot touch enlightenment. Thus it is said. By completely perfecting all aspects, one truly accomplishes the ten bhumis. Regarding this, because some of these are incomplete, one will not become the master of the ten bhumis, therefore it is said, 'by completely perfecting all aspects.' The third should be regarded as a reason. That is to say, each bhumi only has its respective perfection as more prominent, but in actual practice, each bhumi must also combine all six perfections. This refutes those who think that they can attain complete enlightenment solely through the power of the perfection of wisdom. As it is said: Whatever is the best of speech, it does not arise from one dharma. Whatever arises does not exist, nor will it truly transform into arising. Thus it is said. Mindfulness and so forth refer to the four mindfulnesses, the four right abandonments, and the four legs of magical power. These are in accordance with the definitive aspects and are connected with what is shown. Since they are learning on the path of accumulation, what is established is that, considering placing them on the irreversible ground, it is therefore different from what was previously shown. The aspects of the limbs of enlightenment refer to right mindfulness, the limbs of enlightenment, and so forth, which are connected with the path of seeing. The noble eightfold path refers to right view and so forth, which are closely connected with what is said about the path of meditation. Thus, how those that are connected are, in order, expressed in other words, thereby expressing their own meaning by guiding the name. Thus, the characteristics of the Buddha should be remembered by these three methods. Are the aspects that are in accordance with the definitive aspects and so forth not the nature of the path? The Buddha is the nature of the fruit, so how can one remember him by remembering the path? This is without fault, because below it will be explained that all paths are the activity of the dharmakaya, so the author of the activity then

For the sake of remembrance, and remembering how the Buddha initially attained enlightenment, becoming enlightened with the path of enlightenment, this is the sole cause for extreme joy. If one remembers by clinging to substantiality, in order to correct this, one should remember it as the nature of non-substantial remembrance. And quote: 'Whoever knows me by sound, whoever sees me by form, that person walks the wrong path, that person cannot see me. The Buddhas are the Dharmakaya, one should view the Buddha as Dharmata, Dharmata cannot be known by consciousness, that cannot be understood.' This is not contradictory to what was said above. Mindfulness and so on, as previously stated. The Blessed One, the Tathagata, Arhat, perfectly complete Buddha, possessing knowledge and conduct, Well-Gone, Knower of the World, unsurpassed guide of beings, teacher of gods and humans, Buddha, the Blessed One, possessing extremely pure wisdom, and so on, as stated in the Holy Moon Lamp Sutra, should also be remembered. This, for beginner Bodhisattvas, is also known as the cause for quickly encountering the Buddha. Similarly, connect with "remembrance." The word "similarly" refers to the meaning of connecting with "remembering it as the nature of non-substantial remembrance." Regarding virtuous, non-virtuous, and neutral dharmas, virtuous dharmas should be remembered as the Blessed One's Dharma being well-spoken, seeing this is meaningful, the wise should realize it for themselves, and so on. Non-virtuous dharmas should be remembered as non-virtuous dharmas having no self-nature, and should be abandoned due to not understanding their self-nature. Neutral dharmas should be remembered as not belonging to the above two, but belonging to virtuous dharmas. Or, dividing dharmas into three, it depends solely on the functioning of one's own mind. Because dharmas themselves do not inherently exist in that way, from various discriminating perspectives of the mind, neutral dharmas can also transform into virtuous dharmas. Just as reason
