Explanation of the Sixth Chapter. Explanation of the Sixth Chapter. Thus, after distinguishing the meaning of the fifth chapter, now the sixth chapter is being explained. It speaks of obtaining the peak of realization, etc., and now the attainment will be placed up to the tenth bhumi. The tenth bhumi is to be divided into three stages: fully enjoying the peak of realization, etc., and purifying the Buddha-field, etc., which is spoken of during the stage of fully realizing all aspects; being born with a fully ripened body in Akanistha; and abiding in the bhumi of empowerment, which is one stage. The greatness of this is like what the noble Nagarjuna said in the Praise of the Dharmadhatu. Then, being born in Tushita as one bound by one lifetime is the second stage. From this stage until the subduing of the Maras with the essence of the bodhicitta of the last existence is the stage of practicing the gradual realization. Then, at that essence of bodhicitta, generating the wisdom of all-knowingness with the wisdom of a single moment is the third stage. There, the meaning of explaining the content of the seventh chapter is completed. This is in terms of the Nirmanakaya. In terms of the Sambhogakaya's Abhisambodhi, in Akanistha itself, after understanding the meaning of the previous two chapters, one will manifest complete enlightenment. The meaning of realizing individually and collectively, the individual meanings are how each chapter explains, and how many natures there are in each stage of the path of accumulation, etc., the meaning of realization is realized by the wisdom obtained in the subsequent entity. The meaning of the collective is the meaning of the essence, the nature of the Dharmadhatu's non-conceptual wisdom, that meaning is realized by the wisdom of equipoise. Therefore, reading in order means reading with the mind. The first countless eons are from the worldly dharma to the supreme dharma, stability is up to the immovable bhumi, and the third is up to the tenth bhumi.

Therefore, to become accustomed to this is to read in order. However, to further illustrate that one should not only become accustomed to this, but also to stabilize it, it is said, "Engage in contemplation," for the sake of stability, which is to say, for natural accomplishment, without the need for special effort. The term "various" means to become special, because it is most excellent due to the purity of previous meditation. The meaning of "engage in contemplation" is to make it a part of oneself or to make it its essence. The term "gradual realization" refers to the fact that from the beginning of the ordinary accumulation path, up to the tenth bhumi of empowerment, one repeatedly remembers the various benefits one has done for oneself and others due to familiarity, so this is gradual. This meaning can be understood from the example in the Holy Array of Trees Sutra, where the merchant's son Norzang, in the presence of the Holy Maitreya, is shown the stages of his gradual realization in the form of images in the excellent palace of Vairochana. Therefore, such various contemplations themselves are called realization, because they are directed towards manifesting enlightenment in due course of time. The scriptures are also named after it because they explain it, and because the fruit arises from it, it is called that. The four paramitas are included within the prajna-paramita, because, how is this so? The paramitas of method, power, aspiration, and wisdom, these four paramitas are all included within the prajna-paramita, because the method of making even the smallest things, such as generosity, inexhaustible for as long as samsara exists, through the power of dedicating them to great bodhi, is the paramita of method, which is a special quality of wisdom. Furthermore, even if things like generosity are inferior or small, following sutras such as the Holy Akashagarbha Sutra, they are transformed into many and excellent things, thereby benefiting others, and this is the paramita of power. For example, the blood of bodhisattvas like Sadaprarudita is transformed into sandalwood water by Indra.

English

It is like a blessing. This is also a division of the Prajñāpāramitā. Whoever, Bodhisattvas, practice well, gather them together in their minds, and without despising inferior things, may I, through this virtuous action, become a Buddha and a guide for the world. Until that is attained, may I also have such and such a lineage and enjoyment, etc., and by making such aspirations, it will be accomplished as desired. All dharmas are according to conditions, and the power of gathering is extremely strong. By making this aspiration, I will also obtain a result similar to that. As it is said. This is also a special feature of the Prajñāpāramitā. Thus, when practicing the accomplishment of the fruit of aspiration, in those other lives, one will not degenerate from such a position, practicing the conduct of wisdom, and considering as the fruit of practicing well the truths of how to obtain them, not desiring causelessness or causes contrary to them, not desiring to speak, etc., this is the Prajñāpāramitā of wisdom, and this is also a division of the Prajñāpāramitā. Here, it is said in terms of near collection, but in short, it should be known that all virtuous actions depend on wisdom. Furthermore, one should also understand the ways in which the six pāramitās are included in the sutras such as the Ārya Saṃdhinirmocana Sūtra, and there is no fault in applying them here. This fifth one should be regarded as a reason. The six perfections, such as the perfection of generosity, are well distinguished by the purity of the three spheres. Here, the six, such as generosity, are combined with the purity of the three spheres, and are called pāramitā, utmost pāramitā, and well distinguished. Among them, the three spheres are generosity, the recipient, and the object, etc. If these are not completely purified by the main one, they cannot go beyond the happiness of existence, like an army without the king's seal. And their main one, which makes them belong to the category of pāramitā, pāramitā, is the mother Prajñāpāramitā, which is like a king. Therefore, as it is said: A blind man and a target.
