You, and as is appropriate, obtain the fruit, therefore it is not emptiness, and it is not led by other causes, and it is completely transformed, and it gathers together, and it is contradictory, and it is a cause, and it is not transferred, and it is without support, and it is not an agent, in these, knowing, with seven appearances to accomplish the complete knowing, through the door of elimination. Bodhisattvas, for the combination of this and that, are taught through the door of following the ten aspects, indirectly, it is the combination that is the opposite of what is said by the Hearers and others. Because it is necessary to cultivate combination through the door of equality, therefore after combination is equality. Verse: Underneath combination is equality, In form and so on, there is no arrogance, The four are that equality. Thus it is said, clinging to appearances such as form, and the signs of blue and so on, and the arrogance of proliferation and realization, in all aspects, not focusing on them, this is the equality of combination. Because after individually understanding the equality of combination, it is necessary to cultivate the path of seeing, therefore it is the path of seeing. Verse: Suffering and so on, on the truth, the forbearance of the Dharma-knowing, And the forbearance of the worldly-knowing, This moment is the self of all-knowing, The way of understanding is the path of seeing. Thus it is said, for individual truths, there is the forbearance of Dharma-knowing, and the forbearance of Dharma-knowing and worldly-knowing, and worldly-knowing, thus the nature of sixteen moments, in the context of all-knowing, is the path of seeing. What is the aspect of truth? Verse: Form is not permanent nor impermanent, Transcending extremes and utterly pure, Unborn, unceasing, like space, Thus abandoning all attachments, Liberated from all grasping, In its nature, unspeakable, Therefore, if this meaning is spoken, It cannot be given to others, And it can create non-objectivity, Extremely pure, no disease arises, The lower realms are cut off, and the fruit, To be manifested is non-conceptual, Not connected to the signs and qualities, In things and names and both, The arising of knowing is not there, Is the moment of all-knowing. Thus it is said, because of no self-nature, form and so on are separated from the nature of permanent and impermanent, therefore it is neither permanent nor impermanent, because of being separated from suffering and non-suffering.

Being free from the extremes of permanence and annihilation, and being free from emptiness and non-emptiness, therefore it is pure; because it has the nature of self and non-self, it is unborn, unceasing, not completely afflicted, and not completely purified, etc. These are the aspects of the truth of suffering. Because it accumulates things that can be causes and things that cannot be causes, it is similar to space; because it is accumulation and non-accumulation, and because it does not possess, it abandons all afflictions and near afflictions; because it is unrelated to complete arising and complete non-arising, it is liberated from grasping; and because it is liberated from conditions and non-conditions, its own nature is inexpressible, this is the truth of origination. Because it is unrelated to cessation and non-cessation, therefore, the meaning of the truth of cessation cannot be conveyed to others through words; because there is no peace and no non-peace, it can be discerned without an object of focus; because it is free from excellence and non-excellence, it transcends the two extremes and is pure; and because there is no departure and no non-departure, all diseases do not arise, this is the truth of cessation. Because it is free from the path and non-path, the lower realms are cut off; because it is not mixed with reason and non-reason, therefore, for the sake of directly realizing the meaning of the result, it is non-conceptual; and because it is liberated from cultivation and non-cultivation, it is unrelated to the characteristics of all phenomena; and because there is no emergence and no non-emergence, for the nature of what can be said and what says, for both the knowable and sound, there is no arising of knowledge, this is the truth of the path. Those moments of omniscience that have such aspects are the path of seeing for the Bodhisattvas. The Hearers, in contrast to this, should meditate on aspects such as impermanence, etc., this is the path of seeing for omniscience. The path of the Hearers is what the Bodhisattva should fully know, but it is not what should be directly realized, therefore the path of meditation is not taught. Thus, it is extensively taught.

Therefore, by the very act of gathering all meanings, the three omniscient wisdoms are concluded. Thus, this and also this, and also this are the three. These are the three stages, completely and fully revealed. Thus it is said. In the manner just explained, this is all-aspects-wisdom, this is path-wisdom, and this is all-wisdom. Thus, the three aspects of the three chapters are completely accomplished. This is the commentary on the third chapter from the Treatise on the Instructions of the Perfection of Wisdom, called Ornament for Clear Realization. The commentary on the third chapter.
