You are the Perfection of Wisdom. Subhuti, the Perfection of Wisdom is without characteristics, the Perfection of Wisdom has no characteristics whatsoever. He asked: Blessed One, is there such a category by which the characteristic of the Perfection of Wisdom having characteristics, by that characteristic all phenomena will have? The Blessed One said: Subhuti, it is just so. It is just so, by whatever characteristic the Perfection of Wisdom exists, by that very characteristic all phenomena exist. Why is that? Subhuti, all phenomena are empty of inherent existence, all phenomena are empty by all phenomena. All phenomena are empty by all phenomena. Subhuti, in that way, like this, the characteristic of emptiness and the characteristic of serenity, by whatever characteristic the Perfection of Wisdom exists, by that characteristic all phenomena exist. Subhuti asked: Blessed One, if all phenomena are empty by all phenomena, and all phenomena are devoid of all phenomena, then how will the defilement and purification of sentient beings exist? Blessed One, emptiness does not become defiled, it does not become purified. Emptiness does not become defiled, it does not become purified. Emptiness and devoidness do not fully awaken to unsurpassed perfect complete enlightenment, because emptiness, by emptiness, does not perceive any phenomenon in devoidness. By emptiness, one does not perceive any sentient being fully awakening to enlightenment in devoidness, if it is like that, what is the meaning of what the Blessed One has taught that I should understand? The Blessed One said: Subhuti, what do you think? Do sentient beings engage in "I" and "mine" from a long time? He asked: Blessed One, it is so. Sugata, it is so, sentient beings engage in doing "I" and "mine" from a long time. The Blessed One said: Subhuti, what do you think? Are "I" and "mine" empty and devoid? He asked: Blessed One, they are devoid. Sugata

Emptiness! The Blessed One said: Subhuti, what do you think? However, do sentient beings run around and revolve around everywhere because of self and what belongs to self? Answer: Blessed One, that is so. Sugata, that is so, sentient beings run around and revolve around because of self and what belongs to self. The Blessed One said: Subhuti, in that case, sentient beings have universal afflictions, because for what has no self and no belonging to self, there is no clinging. For those who have no clinging, sentient beings will not run around and revolve around everywhere, because they have no universal afflictions. Subhuti, in that case, sentient beings are purified, this is the eleventh characteristic. Question: Blessed One, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva who practices in that way does not practice in form, does not practice in feeling, perception, formations, and does not practice in consciousness. He does not practice in the sense bases, elements, and dependent origination. He does not practice in the perfection of generosity. He does not practice in the perfection of morality, the perfection of patience, the perfection of diligence, the perfection of meditation, and the perfection of wisdom. He does not practice in inner emptiness. He does not practice in emptiness between the emptiness of the nature of non-things. He does not practice in mindfulness, right abandonment, miraculous feet, faculties, powers, branches of enlightenment, and the eightfold noble path. He does not practice in the noble truths, meditation, immeasurables, formless absorptions, liberation, gradual abiding absorptions, emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, supernormal cognition, samadhi, and the doors of dharani. He does not practice in the power of the Tathagata, fearlessness, separate correct knowledge, great love, great compassion, and the unmixed dharmas of the Buddha. He does not practice up to the omniscient one. What is the reason for that? Because that

Thus, all those dharmas of what is practiced, by what is practiced, and what will be practiced are unobservable. Bhagavan, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who practices in this way cannot be overcome by the world with gods, humans, and asuras. Bhagavan, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who practices in this way cannot be overpowered by all the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas. Why is that? It is because of this, like this, the Bodhisattva abides in a faultless and unoverpowerable place. Bhagavan, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who is inseparable from the mindfulness of all-knowingness is unoverpowerable. Bhagavan, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who practices in this way is close to all-knowingness. This is called the twelfth sign, these are the signs that have been spoken. Joining the peak of the signs.
