Incompatible aspects and opposing aspects. Incompatible aspects and opposing aspects. Then, the Venerable Shariputra said to the Venerable Subhuti: "Venerable Subhuti, when Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas practice the Prajnaparamita, what is it that is with attachment? What is it that is without attachment?" Subhuti said: "Venerable Shariputra, for a son or daughter of a Bodhisattva-yana lineage here, if they conceive of form as empty due to unskilled means, that is attachment. Feeling, perception, mental formations, and consciousness are also conceived of as empty, that is attachment. Similarly, the individual and aggregate skandhas, dhatus, ayatanas, and dependent origination are also conceived of as empty, that is attachment. Generosity Paramita is conceived of as empty, that is attachment. Discipline Paramita is conceived of as empty, that is attachment. Patience Paramita is conceived of as empty, that is attachment. Diligence Paramita is conceived of as empty, that is attachment. Meditation Paramita is conceived of as empty, that is attachment. Wisdom Paramita is conceived of as empty, that is attachment. Similarly, the four mindfulnesses are also conceived of as empty, that is attachment. Right exertion, miraculous feet, faculties, powers, Bodhi branches, and paths are also conceived of as empty, that is attachment. The noble truths are also conceived of as empty, that is attachment. The immeasurables, meditations, and formless absorptions are also conceived of as empty, that is attachment. The eight liberations, the nine sequential abidings, emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness are also conceived of as empty, that is attachment. Similarly, the superknowledges, all samadhis, and all dharani gates are also conceived of as empty, that is attachment. The ten powers of the Tathagata, the four fearlessnesses, and the four analytical knowledges are also conceived of as empty, that is attachment. Sangha

If one conceives of the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha as being eighteen unshared qualities, one will be attached. Until one attains omniscience, if one conceives of emptiness, one will be attached. Shariputra, furthermore, if a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, lacking skillful means, conceives of past dharmas as past dharmas, one will be attached. If one conceives of future dharmas as future dharmas, one will be attached. If one conceives of present dharmas as present dharmas, one will be attached. Shariputra, furthermore, if a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, in a clinging manner, from the initial arising of the mind of enlightenment, grasps and engages in the perfection of generosity, one will be attached. If one engages in the perfection of morality, the perfection of patience, the perfection of diligence, the perfection of meditation, and the perfection of wisdom, one will be attached. If one engages in the four mindfulnesses, one will be attached. If one engages in the four perfect abandonments, the bases of miraculous power, the faculties, the powers, the limbs of enlightenment, and the path, one will be attached. Similarly, if one engages in the immeasurables, the meditations, and the formless absorptions, one will be attached. If one engages in the noble truths, emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, the eight liberations, the nine successive abidings in meditative absorption, the superknowledges, all samadhis, and all dharani gates, one will be attached. If one engages in the ten powers, the four fearlessnesses, the four analytical knowledges, and the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha, one will be attached. Until one attains omniscience, if one engages, one will be attached. This is called the unfavorable side. Shariputra, if someone says, 'When Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas engage in the perfection of wisdom, what is non-attachment?' Shariputra, in response to this, when Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas skillfully engage in the perfection of wisdom, they do not think, 'Form is form.' Similarly, feeling, perception, formation

And those who act, etc., with respect to the aggregate of consciousness, there is no cognition that this is called the aggregate of consciousness. Venerable Shariputra, when these Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas skillfully practice the Perfection of Wisdom, the so-called non-attachment is
