From observing feelings, perceptions, formations, and consciousness, up to observing the turning of the wheel of Dharma. It is said: Venerable Subhuti, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Prajnaparamita, due to unskilled means, he clings to form and generates views in the manner of clinging. He clings to feelings, perceptions, formations, and consciousness, and generates views in the manner of clinging. Similarly, he clings to the vast birthplaces, realms, and dependent origination, whether individual or collective, and generates views in the manner of clinging. Similarly, he clings to the mindfulnesses, right abandonments, miraculous feet, faculties, powers, Bodhi limbs, the eightfold noble path, Paramitas, letters, meditations, immeasurables, and formless absorptions, and generates views in the manner of clinging. He clings to liberation, the nine successive abidings, emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, clairvoyance, Samadhi, Dharani gates, the ten powers of the Tathagata, the four fearlessnesses, individual correct knowledge, and the unmixed Dharmas of the Buddha, and generates views in the manner of clinging. He clings to the turning of the wheel of Dharma and generates views in the manner of clinging. Venerable Subhuti, therefore, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva will observe form, will observe feelings, perceptions, formations, and consciousness, will observe up to the turning of the wheel of Dharma. Therefore, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Prajnaparamita, with skillful means, in order to abandon these forms of views, he teaches the Dharma in a non-clinging manner, and this is truly the great abandonment. Great Realization. Then, the Venerable Subhuti said to the Bhagavan:

To! World Honored One, for what reason is a Bodhisattva Mahasattva called such, and I am also proud of that. The World Honored One said: Subhuti, you should be proud. Subhuti replied: World Honored One, what is the mind that is unequal and equal to the mind of enlightenment, the mind that is not common to all Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, the mind that is without outflows and does not belong to the three realms? Because its nature is empty, there is no attachment, and therefore it is counted as a Bodhisattva Mahasattva. Why is that? Because that mind is not a mind, so there is no attachment to it. Then, the Venerable Shariputra said to the Venerable Subhuti: Venerable Subhuti, what is the unequal and equal mind of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva, and the mind that is not common to all Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas? Subhuti said: Venerable Shariputra, for a Bodhisattva Mahasattva, from the moment of first generating the mind, they do not truly observe the arising or ceasing of any dharma. They do not truly observe increase or decrease, coming or going, defilement or purification. Venerable Shariputra, for that which has no arising and no ceasing, no increase and no decrease, no coming and no going, no defilement and no purification, there is no mind of a Shravaka, and no mind of a Pratyekabuddha. Venerable Shariputra, this is the unequal and equal mind of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva, which is not common to all Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas. He said: Venerable Subhuti, you said: For the mind of all-knowing wisdom, the mind without outflows and incomprehensible, there is also no attachment. Venerable Subhuti, is it because of the emptiness of inherent nature that there is no attachment to form? Is there also no attachment to feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness? In all aspects

Is there no attachment even to omniscience? He said: Venerable Shariputra, it is just so. Form has no attachment. Feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness also have no attachment. There is no attachment even to the sense bases, realms, and dependent origination. There is also no attachment to the meditative stabilizations, the immeasurables, and the formless absorptions. There is no attachment even to the factors of enlightenment. There is no attachment even to the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha. There is no attachment even to omniscience.
