He does not generate a mind that is endowed with jealousy and miserliness, endowed with craving, and endowed with wrong views. He does not generate a mind of desire, and hatred, and delusion, and pride, and deceit, and trickery, and jealousy, and miserliness, and craving, and endowed with wrong views, therefore he will never be born in a mother's womb, but will always be born miraculously without interruption. He will never be born in the lower realms except for the purpose of fully maturing sentient beings. He goes from Buddha-field to Buddha-field, and also attends to the Buddhas, the Bhagavat. He also fully matures sentient beings. He also enjoys the Buddha-fields, and from then until he manifestly, perfectly, and completely awakens to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, he will never be separated from the Buddhas, the Bhagavat. Shariputra, endowed with life, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who thus practices the Perfection of Wisdom is close to the All-Knowingness. This is the object and the distinction of the aspect of the middling patience. Then, the venerable Subhuti said this to the Bhagavan: Bhagavan, if a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, when practicing the Perfection of Wisdom, due to unskilled means, if he practices on form, he practices on signs, and does not practice on the Perfection of Wisdom. If he practices on feeling, he practices on signs. If he practices on perception, he practices on signs. If he practices on formations, he practices on signs. If he practices on consciousness, he practices on signs, and does not practice on the Perfection of Wisdom. If he practices on form as permanent or impermanent, he practices on signs, and does not practice on the Perfection of Wisdom. If he practices on feeling as permanent or impermanent, he practices on signs. If he practices on perception as permanent or impermanent, he practices on signs. If he practices on formations as permanent or impermanent, he practices on signs. If he practices on consciousness as permanent or impermanent, he practices on
