Nor is it not pleasant. Whatever is neither pleasant nor unpleasant, that is also not truly seen as permanent or impermanent. Similarly, it is not truly seen as pleasant or painful. It is not truly seen as self or selfless. It is not truly seen as peaceful or unpeaceful. It is not truly seen as empty or not empty. It is not truly seen as having signs or being without signs. It is not truly seen as having aspirations or being without aspirations. It is not truly seen as conditioned or unconditioned. It is not truly seen as arising or not arising. It is not truly seen as ceasing or not ceasing. It is not truly seen as secluded or not secluded. It is not truly seen as virtuous or non-virtuous. It is not truly seen as with fault or without fault. It is not truly seen as with outflows or without outflows. It is not truly seen as with afflictions or without afflictions. It is not truly seen as worldly or beyond worldly. It is not truly seen as completely defiled or purified. The feeling born of the contact of the nose, odor, and the consciousness of the nose, whether it is pleasant or painful, or neither pleasant nor painful, that is not truly seen as samsara or nirvana.
