Therefore, it is explained by statements such as "the Hearer Vehicle and the Buddha Vehicle will be explained separately." In the first aspect of clinging to conceptualization, divided into nine parts, the first aspect is that since it has not arisen as a substantial entity, it is nominally designated as sentient beings, as it is also said in the sutra: "Having said this, the venerable Subhuti said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, if the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One, even with the five eyes, cannot perceive which sentient beings will be completely liberated from samsara." And so on. Second, because it is merely appearance, it is nominally designated as Dharma, as it is also said in the sutra: "The Buddha said: Subhuti, likewise, the Tathagata knows all dharmas as illusory, therefore there are no sentient beings to be tamed." And so on. Third, in order to pervade everything, with all-knowing wisdom, etc., the Dharma is not emptiness, as it is also said in the sutra: "World Honored One, if all dharmas are like illusions, what is the difference between the World Honored One and an illusion?" And so on. Fourth, because the manifest clinging to all aspects has not been abandoned, there is attachment to the Dharma, as it is also said in the sutra: "The Buddha said: Subhuti, for example, the Tathagata, with peaceful wisdom, without focusing on the Bodhisattva, emanates an emanation and enters into nirvana." And so on. The fifth and subsequent parts are explanations, and the order of the sutras is inconsistent, and because the sutra is taken as the standard and one has not entered correctly, it is impure, as it is also said in the sutra: "World Honored One, if there is no difference between an illusion and the Tathagata, how can giving be completely purified?" And so on. By realizing the absence of inherent existence, one is skilled in distinguishing the Dharma, as it is also said in the sutra: "Subhuti, therefore, in this way, by measuring the nature of all dharmas, it should be known that there is no difference between the Tathagata and the Tathagata's emanation." And so on. Focusing on giving, etc., and practicing, leads to confused behavior, as it is also said in the sutra: "Having entered into the nature of all dharmas, that nature should not be disturbed. This is the Dharma of the Perfection of Wisdom."

It is shown by "one should not disturb its own nature" and so on. Because of focusing on form and so on, the three vehicles are certain to arise, as it is also said in the sutra: Question: World Honored One, if the Dharma nature of all dharmas is not to be disturbed, World Honored One, why does the Thus-Gone-One indicate with statements such as "this is form"? Because one does not act for a specific purpose, but acts for the sake of things, it is also said in the sutra: Question: World Honored One, if the World Honored One, in order to make others understand, indicates the Dharma nature of all dharmas with names and signs, and speaks of the dharmas, and so on. The second distinction in holding onto the path of meditation is divided into nine categories. First, because one does not fully know all aspects, one is ignorant of the obscuration of the all-knowingness of all aspects. Second, because one does not fully know all paths, one is ignorant of the obscuration of the knowledge of the path. Third, because one does not fully know all bases, one is ignorant of the obscuration of the all-knowingness of all, as it is also said in the sutra: Question: World Honored One, do you say that all-knowingness is the all-knowingness of all aspects? The World Honored One replied: Subhuti, I say that all-knowingness of all aspects is the all-knowingness of all aspects. And so on. Fourth, because one does not fully know the Prajnaparamita, one is ignorant of the path of all peace, as it is also said in the sutra: Then, the venerable Subhuti said to the World Honored One: World Honored One, if the path is not real and Nirvana is not real, why is it said that this is a stream enterer, this is a once-returner, this is a non-returner, this is an Arhat, this is a Pratyekabuddha? And so on. Fifth, because one does not fully know the suchness of knowable objects such as form, one is ignorant of whether it is in accordance with or not in accordance with suchness and so on, as it is also said in the sutra: Subhuti, this Prajnaparamita is neither in accordance with any dharma nor not in accordance with it, neither visible nor invisible, neither obstructive nor unobstructed. And so on.
