The Path of Meditation. The Path of Meditation. The nature of the sixth path of meditation, which is shown by eight meanings to reach the peak, is shown above by the Samadhi of Tögal. In the beginning of grasping at objects, the first of the nine divisions is to briefly benefit sentient beings who are happy, and to briefly explain it with faith. Secondly, those who are happy with elaboration, elaboration is also as stated in the sutra: "Those who practice the Perfection of Wisdom are also contemplated by the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, who have passed, have not come, and are present." This and other teachings are shown. Thirdly, as shown, not diligently working on the meaning, the Buddha taught but did not fully grasp it, also as stated in the sutra: "Asked: Bhagavan, this is the conduct of Bodhisattva Mahasattvas with sharp faculties." This and other teachings are shown. Fourthly, by the nature of arising and ceasing, there is no merit of the path of union, also as stated in the sutra: "Subhuti, therefore, Bodhisattva Mahasattvas who practice the Perfection of Wisdom should hope that they will also attain the Dharma attained by the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, who have passed, have not come, and are present." This and other teachings are shown. Fifthly, because it does not possess the cause of truly arising, there is no merit of the path of seeing, also as stated in the sutra: "Thus, the diligent Bodhisattva Mahasattva will quickly awaken to the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment." This and other teachings are shown. Sixthly, by the nature of having no future, there is no merit of the path of meditation, also as stated in the sutra: "Subhuti, furthermore, if a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom in this way, even for the time it takes to snap one's fingers, they will be meditating on the Perfection of Wisdom." This and other teachings are shown. Seventh, The path that combines with Nirvana through peace and so on is also as stated in the sutra: "Asked: Bhagavan, how should Bodhisattva Mahasattvas practice the Perfection of Wisdom? How should they realize the Perfection of Wisdom?" This and other teachings are shown. Eighth, by the nature of realizing emptiness, it is also the path of seeing.

It is stated in the Sutra: "Whatever is said like this, 'How to realize the Prajñāpāramitā,'" etc., has been explained. Ninth, the path of meditating with no self-nature is also stated in the Sutra: "Whatever is said like this, 'How to meditate on the Prajñāpāramitā,'" etc., has been explained. The second grasping thought of the path of meditation is divided into nine parts. First, because of being separated from a virtuous friend, the mind of enlightenment does not arise, which is also stated in the Sutra: "Asked, 'Bhagavan, for how long should a Bodhisattva Mahāsattva practice the Prajñāpāramitā to be considered practicing the Prajñāpāramitā?'" etc., has been explained. Second, because there is no particularly excellent merit of focusing on the Buddha, the essence of enlightenment is not kept in mind, which is also stated in the Sutra: "Asked, 'Bhagavan, should one practice continuously without interruption or separation of the stream of consciousness?'" etc., has been explained. Third, those of the Śrāvaka lineage, and fourth, those of the Pratyekabuddha lineage, therefore, their giving is distinguished in advance, which is also stated in the Sutra: "Whether conditioned or unconditioned, whether the Dharma of the Śrāvakas or the Dharma of the Pratyekabuddhas, even the interval of all Dharmas is not to be designated," etc., has been explained. Fifth, because the Prajñāpāramitā is without obscuration, the perfect and complete enlightenment is not kept in mind, which is also stated in the Sutra: "The Buddha said: Subhūti, non-action is the practice of the Prajñāpāramitā by a Bodhisattva Mahāsattva," etc., has been explained. Sixth, meditating with an object, and seventh, without an object, there is no meditation, and eighth, without both object and non-object, therefore, there is neither meditation nor non-meditation, which is also stated in the Sutra: "Asked, 'Bhagavan, in what way does it become without an object? In what way does it become with an object?'" etc., has been explained. Ninth, because of clinging to inverted appearances, therefore, the discrimination that grasps the meaning that is not as it is, which is also stated in the Sutra: "Asked, 'Bhagavan, if all Dharmas are uncreated and without change, then, Bhagavan, how are there the three vehicles, namely the Śrāvaka vehicle and'
