Path Knowledge. Path Knowledge. Branch of Path Knowledge. The second of the eight general topics, knowing the aspects of the path, also has four aspects: the basis for generating knowledge of the aspects of the path, the object, the pervasiveness, the nature, the function, as well as the knowledge of the path of the Hearers, the knowledge of the path of the Solitary Buddhas, and the knowledge of the path of the Buddhas. Among these, the basis is explained from the beginning of the twenty-second chapter, starting with "Then, in this realm of the three-thousand great-thousand world system." The determination of the object is also in the words of the Sutra. Then, the lord of the gods, Indra, said to the venerable Subhuti: "Venerable Subhuti, from 'this realm of the three-thousand great-thousand world system' to 'generate the mind of enlightenment' is explained." The pervasiveness is that the Great Vehicle itself is also taught as the path of the Hearers. This is also in the words of the Sutra. From "Those who have entered the true and flawless path" to "I do not obstruct the virtuous side" and so on is explained. The nature and function are implicitly explained: entering without flaw does not have the power to generate the mind of enlightenment, because it is cutting off samsara. Therefore, generating the mind of enlightenment and benefiting beings as long as samsara exists is its nature. If one remains in samsara, benefiting sentient beings is its function. Knowledge of the Path of the Hearers. Knowing the path of the Hearers in the manner of the Four Noble Truths is also in the words of the Sutra. Kausika, what is the Perfection of Wisdom of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva? From here onwards it is explained. Suffering and origin are explained from the point that form is impermanent, one should contemplate in this way. Cessation is also in the words of the Sutra. With the contemplation endowed with the knowledge of all aspects, ignorance ceases, and actions cease, and so on is explained. The path is also in the words of the Sutra. Kausika, furthermore, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, with the mind of enlightenment endowed with the knowledge of all aspects, cultivates the four close placements of mindfulness, and so on is explained. To know the Four Noble Truths, the heat of the definitive distinguishing factor of certainty is also in the words of the Sutra. Kausika, form is empty of form, and so on is explained. The peak is also in the words of the Sutra. Kausika, in this Bodhisattva

It is taught from the point onwards that a great courageous Bodhisattva should not abide in the manner of focusing on form. Patience is also a word from the Sutra. It is taught from the point onwards that one should not abide in the manner of focusing on seeing form as permanent. The supreme Dharma is also a word from the Sutra. Kausika, furthermore, it is taught from the point onwards that a great Bodhisattva should not abide in the manner of focusing on the first. The Path Knowledge of a Solitary Buddha. The Path Knowledge of a Solitary Buddha is also taught by the three differences that distinguish the Path of a Solitary Buddha from the Path of a Hearer, which are different in meaning, abandoning the concept of the apprehended but not abandoning the concept of the apprehender, and the path like a rhinoceros, the Four Truths, meditating on dependent origination, and so on. The distinction from that is also a word from the Sutra. Then, some of the sons of the gods in that assembly thought: The language of the Yakshas, and so on, is taught from the point onwards. Praising that it is not permissible not to rely on the patience of Path Knowledge, and teaching the individual who enters the Path, here it comes from the Sutra: Sons of the gods, thus, those who wish to abide in the fruit of entering the stream, from the end of the twenty-second chapter, until: That which is unborn is not the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly complete Buddha. Among the four parts that definitively distinguish the cause of the Path Knowledge of a Solitary Buddha, warmth is also a word from the Sutra. Then, the Lord of the Gods, Indra, thought: Alas, this venerable Subhuti neither contradicts examination nor teaches the nature of things, it is profound wisdom! It is taught from the point onwards. The peak is also a word from the Sutra. Whoever studies the immeasurable and countless Dharmas of the Buddhas does not study for the sake of increasing or decreasing form, it is taught from the point onwards. Patience is also a word from the Sutra. Shariputra said: Venerable Subhuti, why does a great Bodhisattva not study for the sake of completely grasping and eliminating form, it is taught from the point onwards. The supreme Dharma is also a word from the Sutra. Shariputra said: Venerable Subhuti, how does a great Bodhisattva who studies in this way
