Explanation of the aspect of combination. Explanation of the aspect of combination. After showing the various aspects, now the aspect of combination is to be stated. Regarding this, first of all, the basis of combination is the combiner, so it is to be stated, therefore it will be stated. Regarding this, there are four types of combiners. What are they? "Having revered the Buddhas, Thereby generating roots of virtue, Having a virtuous friend as protector, This is a vessel for listening." This is how it is shown. Likewise, from the perspective of the basis of combination for manifesting complete enlightenment in all aspects, special offerings were made to the previous victors. The scriptures taught by the departed, and generating roots of virtue before the Tathagata, and being fully supported by a virtuous friend, are vessels for listening to the Prajnaparamita, this is how it is shown. The basis of combination for listening to this is of three types. Furthermore, from the perspective of the basis of combination such as holding, retaining, reading, fully comprehending, properly attending to, and not being afraid of it, etc. "Relying on the Buddha and questioning everything, Practicing generosity, discipline, etc., The noble ones consider Those who receive, hold, etc., as vessels." This is how it is shown. Whoever has attended and honored many Buddhas, and has fully inquired, and possesses the practice of the six perfections, this is shown to be a vessel for holding. Because it is said that without the cause as stated, one does not believe in it and abandons it completely, this is how it is shown. The opposite of what is stated is the cause of disbelief and abandonment. The reason for abandoning the profound Prajnaparamita due to the cause of disbelief is none other than what is called the nature of beings. The son of Venerable Sharadvatiputra said that the Prajnaparamita is extremely profound. That profundity is merely the cause of disbelief, therefore it should be known that this is the cause of the faults of beings who abandon it. What is the reason for that? Because one desires to abide in the knowledge of the aspect of the path, and the omniscience of all aspects.

When it is taught that one should strive in every way for that which one wishes to generate, it is the meaning of closely establishing the teaching of application. All-knowingness and the perfection of wisdom arise from each other, and are clear by its power. In what way is it so? The arising of all-knowingness from the perfection of wisdom is manifestation. By the power of all-knowingness, that perfection of wisdom also becomes clear, and because it becomes the cause of understanding and so on, therefore, in order, it is said to arise from itself and to be clear by its power. In order to abandon the faults of the vessel of the teaching, it is said, "Listen well and keep it well in mind," which means abandoning the bad vessels for listening, such as a vessel with its mouth facing down, impure, and leaking, and it is shown to be a vessel for the teaching. Thus, it abandons the three faults of the vessel of the teaching. Scattered wisdom is what is said by "well." The fault of distraction is what is said by "listen." The fault of inferior intention is what is said by "keep it well in mind." Having shown the basis of application, the applications should be spoken. That should be viewed in twenty ways: because it does not abide in form, etc., because abiding in it is prevented, because its suchness is profound, because they are difficult to fathom, because they are immeasurable, because they are very difficult to contemplate for a long time, because it is a prophecy, because it is irreversible, because there is no interruption of renunciation, because enlightenment is near and quick, because benefiting others is without increase or decrease, seeing the names of Dharma and non-Dharma, etc., form, etc., are inconceivable and invisible, form, etc., are its characteristics, and one does not discriminate in its essence, the fruit gives jewels, and it is pure and has boundaries. Thus it is taught. Among them, the application of not focusing on form, etc., starts from "What is form?" etc., to "He does not strive for form," etc., and it is permissible to strive for that which prevents dwelling in the midst of non-contamination. Why is that? It is taught because it does not focus on form, etc. Application and very
