Explanation of the Practice of Entering Explanation of the Practice of Entering The practice of entering is to be explained, and it has two aspects: entering the Great Vehicle and ascending in it. Therefore, it is also said in the sutra: "O fortunate one, by what measure does a Bodhisattva Mahasattva enter the Great Vehicle and ascend in the Great Vehicle?" It is said that it is also of one meaning, so entering is ascending, and ascending is also entering. Thus, establishing one name, it transforms into nine aspects, which are: entering with meditative absorption and the formless absorptions; entering the six perfections; entering the noble path; entering the immeasurables; entering with non-objectification; entering the complete purification of the three spheres; entering for the sake of purpose; entering clairvoyance; and entering the state of omniscience. Therefore: Meditation, formless, generosity, and so on, The path and love, and so on, With non-objectification and endowed with it, The three spheres completely purified, For the sake of purpose and six clairvoyances, In the manner of all-knowing, The practice of entering the Great Vehicle, Know that it is ascending. Thus it is said. Among them, entering with meditative absorption and the formless absorptions is: When a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the perfection of generosity, with the aspect, signs, and characteristics of space, entering and emerging from meditative absorption and the formless absorptions, those roots of virtue are completely dedicated to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, which is the Great Vehicle, as it is said. "With the aspect, signs, and characteristics of space" means that all phenomena are like space, and by completely holding the path of non-objectification, it is a synonym for no aspect, no sign, and no characteristic. Among them, "aspect" means being separated from desires and separated from sinful, non-virtuous dharmas. "Sign" means having conception and having analysis, and so on. "Characteristic" means the joy born of solitude, and so on. Or the lower ground and
