I, in this clarity, from moon-secret bindu and so on, what is there that yogis should not do that has not been said? Furthermore, dharma and non-dharma, etc., all are merely examined by thought. Things are of such a nature, you have no measure. The fruit of action depends on thought, therefore, the Thus-Gone One, the compassionate one, seeing this, also allows what is forbidden. Furthermore, these by their very nature, all dharmas are without self, like lotuses in the sky, etc., what afflictions would arise? Or these, possessing excellent, assemblies and combinations, produce excellent fruits, like seeds soaked in turmeric. From the habituation of equality of substances, etc., certainly becoming pure, the mind will attain enlightenment, thus the wise abide. If one sees all dharmas as like illusions, the ultimate meaning, like the fully enlightened Buddha, in this world, one should abide as one pleases. Whatever difficult deeds, whatever generates afflictions, the protector of the world, prohibits for the sake of those who abide in mantra practice. Attaining enlightenment through ease, etc., those who are disrespectful to the Buddha's words, saying, "What is this, not understanding the scriptures," speak vows and hatred to me. Thus, the mind is obscured by the two of ignorance, the eye of wisdom is covered. Because they have not awakened, those of evil wisdom, speak of this and that. In general, in all the tantras, such vows and precepts, what the protector has said is true, but these should be examined. Eating what is not food, going where one should not go, relying on what one should not rely on, etc., if enlightenment could be attained, then why have ordinary beings and animals not been liberated until now? The power of poison is death, the power of emetics is vomiting, like that, eating what is not food, etc., generates sin, things have various powers. Some eat poison, but do not realize its power, but either for the sake of worldly fame, or from the scriptures, it is known. Saffron, etc., is praised, feces, etc., is disparaged. Who can change what is established by its very nature? The power of poison, etc., is experienced upon seeing it. Eating what is not food

Although actions are invisible, they will be realized as they are. If one engages in perverse actions, one will be temporarily condemned by the world. Similarly, the punishments of kings and others will destroy ignorance. Just as counterfeit gold and the like are secretly lived with. Likewise, Mantra practitioners should engage in their own practice. If you are intensely tormented by hunger, thirst, heat, cold, drowsiness, and sleep, When they appear, where have your insubstantial things gone? All phenomena are without self, yet you crave gain and respect. When this appears, why are yogis not greatly astonished? Seeing what is beneficial as painful, and seeing some harmful things as beneficial, This is having knowledge beyond the senses about things, and certainty about what is unseen. Why do you not appear to abandon what should be abandoned and accept what should be accepted? Why are you not pleased with this in future lives? You should also be certain that actions have consequences. If it were not so, why would you act to obtain food and drink? By ascertaining the teachings of the Sage and distinguishing between definitive and provisional meanings, How do you ascertain that vows and the like are not provisional? Yeshe Drakpa (Jñānaprabha) said that this is clearly provisional. From entering into that, listen to these words of his. Yakshas, Rakshasas, flesh-eaters, and the like, showing vows, Is to make the trusting mind attached, those are for accomplishing those. In order to certainly remove from all nets of wrong views, the protector relies on the distinctions of caste and certainly declares vows. If you truly acknowledge that all things are emptiness, Why do you appear attached to some things, but swear by this itself? Or, it is heard that some great Bodhisattvas, relying on vows and the like, closely attain accomplishment. We also follow them. Such small wisdom as yours, to see such, how can you enter that deep ocean of thought? Just as children say to a little bit of dirt, "This is food, that is drink," and also take various kinds of vegetables and play games. Likewise, for those who do not understand that truth, practice the treatises on mantras.
