Do. After that, in this way, in the heart of the Blessed Mother, in the center of the mandala that makes cool rays, in the pistil of the delightful blue lotus, merged in the center of the mandala of the friend of the kumuda (moon) who is free from the mark of the deer, from the yellow seed syllable TĀṂ (Tibetan: ཏཱཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ताṁ, Sanskrit Romanization: tāṁ, Chinese literal meaning: when) arises a garland of immeasurable rays of light, illuminating the three worlds, and the body of the Blessed Mother Wisdom Sattva, which has been perfectly accomplished from the beginning, is invited to the sky, summoned to abide in the direction of the sky. With the water of good fragrance and the flowers of good fragrance in the precious vessel, offer the feet of the Blessed Mother in this way. Divine flowers, incense, lamps, food, fragrance, garlands, unguents, powders, clothes, umbrellas, victory banners, flags, bells, and so on, with all kinds of outer and inner offerings, offer to the Blessed Mother in this way. Again and again, after offering truthfully, praise and look at the mudra: join the palms, make the tips of the middle fingers touch, and on the third joint of that, bend the two index fingers slightly and hold them. Put the two thumbs together and place them near the third joint of that. Bend the ring fingers inward, extend the little fingers and join them, and look, this is the mudra of the unopened lotus. With this mudra, in this way, please the body of the Blessed Mother Wisdom Sattva. Here, in this way, contemplate the Blessed Mother in the form of the samaya sattva within oneself. In this way, one can attain supreme liberation in non-duality. After that, in the center of the lunar disc, in the pistil of the delightful blooming blue lotus, merged on the mandala of the stainless moon, from the yellow seed syllable TĀṂ (Tibetan: ཏཱཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ताṁ, Sanskrit Romanization: tāṁ, Chinese literal meaning: when) arises the goddess Tara, illuminating the world to the edge of the sky, and for the beings abiding therein, by showering various precious jewels, etc., she removes suffering, and in an instant, with the nectar of teaching the Dharma such as selflessness, she nourishes them.

Having pleased the Mother, again and again, she benefits beings in various ways. Also, visualize the three realms as the body of Tara, and on that, visualize the yellow seed syllable “ཏཱཾ་(Tibetan: ཏཱཾ་, Devanagari: ता, Romanized Sanskrit: tāṃ, Literal meaning: Tam)”. From that, the stages of arising and absorption, like arising from it, should be practiced until fatigue. When tired from practice, then the mantra should be recited. The mantra is as follows: Om Tare Tuttare Ture Svaha. Such a king of mantras is very powerful. Thus, all the Tathagatas make prostrations, offerings, and reverence. After rising from meditation, view all beings as the body of Tara, generate pride, and abide in that way. Generally, with this sequence, the desires of the Bhagavati Mother will be fulfilled, and the eight great siddhis will surely fall at your feet, what need is there to mention other siddhis? Also, in that way, residing in a monastery or any secluded mountain cave, the wise should practice the Bhagavati Mother. By this, one will surely see her directly. The Bhagavati Mother herself gives her breath and complete breath, etc. What is the use of saying much? Even the Buddha, who is extremely difficult to find, abides in the palm of her hand. Here, the slightly expanded Tara practice is completed. By this excellent practice of Tara, the three-world knowing one, may the merit I have gained surely cause the teachings of the Bhagavati to obtain vast, supreme, and stainless qualities. May all beings quickly enter the city of the Victorious One through this merit! By the merit of the slightly extensive composition of the practice of Tara, may the world attain a state of peace! Composed by the great Pandit Sthavira, the unparalleled Protector. Tara Practice. Unequaled Protector.
