The practice of Tara, the unparalleled protection. The practice of Tara. The unparalleled protection. In Sanskrit: Tara Sadhanam (तारासाधनं, Tārāsādhanam, meaning: Tara Practice). In Tibetan: The practice of Tara. Homage to the Noble Tara! Possessing great qualities, separated from all faults, having paid homage to the great Mother of the Conquerors, Tara, with clarity and beautiful words, and with respect, here, for the sake of my own mind, I accurately write these words. Not making any slight, unprecedented creation, but from the words of the Guru, in order to remember what was heard, correctly gathering and writing in detail. First, the practitioner should rise early in the morning and wash the face and clothes, etc., Having cleaned, in a secluded and pleasant place, anoint with good fragrance, spread flowers and good scents, sit on a comfortable seat, and visualize in one's heart the mandala of cool rays transformed from the initial sound. In its center, visualize a pleasing blue lotus, on whose stamen is a moon mandala without the mark of a rabbit. On top of that, visualize the yellow seed syllable TAM (ཏཱཾ, ता, tāṃ, meaning: TAM). Then, from the rays arising from the yellow seed syllable TAM (ཏཱཾ, ता, tāṃ, meaning: TAM), destroy the darkness of ignorance of beings, pervading to the ends of the ten directions of the world. Having illuminated all of that, invite the countless and immeasurable Buddhas and Bodhisattvas who reside therein, and arrange them in the direction of the sky. After that, to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, the great compassionate ones who reside in the sky, offer great offerings of divine flowers, incense, perfume, garlands, anointments, powders, clothes, parasols, victory banners, bells, streamers, and so forth, and perform confession, etc. From beginningless time in samsara, the sinful deeds of body, speech, and mind that I have committed in samsara, and caused others to commit, and rejoiced in, all of these I confess individually. Having confessed individually through this ritual, take the vow not to repeat them, and rejoice in merit. Rejoice in the merit of the Sugatas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Shravakas, and

And the Bodhisattvas, and the gods, and the Brahmas, and the merits of all the worldly beings, I rejoice in all of them. After that, taking refuge in the three is: Until the essence of enlightenment, I take refuge in the Buddha; until the essence of enlightenment, I take refuge in the sacred Dharma; until the essence of enlightenment, I take refuge in the Sangha. So it is said. After that, relying on the path is that I should rely on the path spoken by the Tathagata, not on others. So it is said. After that, one should pray: As long as samsara exists, may the Blessed One, the Tathagatas, and their sons not pass into nirvana for the sake of beings. After that, one should urge: Please teach the supreme Dharma of the Blessed One, the Tathagata, in which the sentient beings bound to existence in samsara will be liberated in an instant. After that, one should dedicate all the merits: Whatever roots of virtue have been accumulated in the sevenfold unsurpassed offerings, may all of them be completely dedicated to perfect and complete enlightenment. Or, in brief, one should recite this verse representing the sevenfold unsurpassed offerings: I confess all sins, and rejoice in virtue with great joy. I pray that the Blessed One, the precious sacred Dharma, will remain for the sake of beings. I take refuge in the precious Three Jewels, drawing near, until I attain enlightenment. I will properly rely on the sacred path, and dedicate the accumulated virtues to perfect enlightenment. Thus, one should make offerings with the sevenfold unsurpassed offerings. Om(藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡), Ah(藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आः,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:阿), Hum(藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), Muh(藏文:མུཿ,梵文天城体:मुः,梵文罗马拟音:muḥ,汉语字面意思:穆), with these words, one dismisses them. Or, one should anoint the body with natural sandalwood and wear the clothes of meditation. Having scattered the flowers of the limbs of enlightenment, one should dwell here in comfort. After that, according to the order that will be explained, one should meditate on the four immeasurable abodes, namely, loving-kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity. Among them, what is loving-kindness? Sentient beings.
