The Sadhana of Noble Khachö (Ḍākiṇī). Anupamarakṣita. The Sadhana of Noble Khachö. Anupamarakṣita. In Sanskrit: Ārya Kharas Pāṇi Sādhanam. In Tibetan: The Sadhana of Noble Khachö. Homage to Noble Khachö! Homage to the Protector Khachö, who has become the protector of those who suffer! From that condensed sadhana, I will write in a slightly more detailed manner. First, for a while, the mantra practitioner should wash their feet, hands, and so on with water, making them supremely clean, and then reside in a secluded mountain cave, clearing away obstacles. Some, from a place that suits their mind, sit near a soft and spacious cushion, and then mentally visualize a mandala of the moon arising from the complete transformation of the first vowel letter in their heart. In its center, one should visualize the seed syllable Sanskrit Romanization: hrīḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: sha) blazing with a garland of light from a hundred autumn moons. Then, again, from the seed syllable ཧྲཱིཿ (Tibetan: ཧྲཱིཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः, Sanskrit Romanization: hrīḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: sha), light radiates, destroying the darkness of ignorance for beings, and emanating in the form of a hook of light, illuminating all those who reside in the limitless realms of the ten directions. Inviting the countless, immeasurable gurus, Buddhas, and Bodhisattvas who reside there, one should have them sit in the sky in front. Afterwards, those ones are situated in the direction of the sky, and one should offer flowers, incense, lamps, perfumes, garlands, ointments, powders, clothes, umbrellas, victory banners, bells, and flags, etc., with offerings of supremely excellent forms to the gurus, Buddhas, and Bodhisattvas who possess supreme compassion, and confess sins. Whatever sinful actions I have committed with my body, speech, and mind in this life and in other lives, from beginningless and endless samsara, in the places of birth in samsara, and whatever I have caused others to do, and whatever I have rejoiced in, all of those I confess individually in the presence of the Victorious Ones, the great joyful protectors of the three worlds, and the gurus, Buddhas, and Bodhisattvas. With this ritual, one confesses individually and vows not to do them again.

One should uphold the vows and rejoice in merit. Rejoice in the perfect Buddha, as well as the solitary realizers, the Shravakas, and the Bodhisattvas, and all the virtues that exist in the three realms. After that, one should take refuge in the Three Jewels. I take refuge in the Buddha, the supreme of the two-legged. I take refuge in the Dharma, the supreme of those free from attachment. I take refuge in the Sangha, the supreme of the assemblies. Afterwards, the path to rely on is the path spoken by the perfect Buddha, which I will rely on, and not others. Then one should pray: May the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, and their sons, the great Bodhisattvas, not pass into complete Nirvana until Samsara is empty, please benefit sentient beings. After that, one should urge: In the same way, may the Bhagavat Tathagatas teach the unsurpassed Dharma, and by teaching it, quickly liberate sentient beings from the boundless ocean of Samsara. After praying, one should then dedicate the merit. After offering the supreme seven-branch offering, all the roots of virtue accumulated in this way, I dedicate them all to perfect enlightenment. Or, in brief, the supreme seven-branch offering is spoken, and these verses should be recited: Whatever sins I have committed with body, speech, and mind, I confess before the Buddhas. I always rejoice with great joy in all the virtues of the three realms. I always take refuge in the Three Jewels, I take refuge in the words of the Victorious Ones and rely on them. As long as Samsara remains, may the protectors of beings not pass into Nirvana, and may they always benefit sentient beings here, I request the Buddha and his retinue to remain. The Dharma that eliminates doubts, please, great powerful one, reveal it. May all those who go to the ocean of Samsara together, by whatever means go to the other shore and accumulate happiness. All the vast merit accumulated, I dedicate it all to perfect enlightenment.
