By the syllable "Sola (藏文)", one can protect the gods and the world, and also satisfy oneself. The remainder should be distributed to the patrons and those who seek the meaning of the remainder. For pacification, offer fire with milk; to accomplish increasing activities, empower with yellow liquid; red and black colors can also be added to the milk. Then, pour all the ashes and charcoal from the fire offering stove into a vase and immerse it in water such as a river. This is an excellent method for satisfying the gods. This is the external fire offering ritual. All of these should be done with a mind free of omissions, and one will surely achieve one's desires. This is a special feature of the mind fire offering. Another way is, as it is, with the yoga of one's desired deity, the main deity of the drawn mandala, with a seat and so on that are in accordance with the karma, as mentioned before, abiding in the nature of fire, placed in the center of the mandala residing in the space in front. On one's side, in a vessel of the nature of the seven precious substances, filled with honey and ghee, then with a ladle and pouring vessel of the nature of the seven precious substances, scooping, pouring, and offering, perform the mind fire offering. Similarly, one should also meditate on the wheel of one's desired deity, and practice the rituals such as invocation in sequence, and satisfy them with the fire offering. This fire offering ritual is unsurpassed, because it is the cause of the manifestation of the unsurpassed mind; and also, for the external ritual, its meaning is the same; the accomplishments of the Buddhas and Vidyadharas, etc., are also various illusory lights, which are the nature of complete purity. This is the ritual of the mind fire offering. With the yoga of one's desired deity, the essence of that deity or the nature of Vajrasattva, in whatever order, the self-nature is completely pure, or the nature of Vairochana Buddha, etc., the desired qualities such as form, etc., no matter how they are obtained, should be enjoyed without hesitation. At the time of eating, transform all of one's food into nectar by purifying it with equality, and with the fire of the navel chakra stove, embrace the heart.

The wheel of one's own self-born deity should be perfectly satisfied with the offering spoon in the hand, etc., according to the ritual. As it is said, the outer substance is the inner fire offering. The inner fire offering that does not depend on outer substances is the cause of supreme bliss and perfection. I have clearly explained it in the commentary on the glorious Samputa Tantra, so it should be understood there. Burning the firewood of the aggregates, etc., in the fire of wisdom in the form of the wheel of the three realms, which is the inseparability of emptiness and compassion, as instructed, is the unsurpassed fire offering. This is a detailed explanation of all the rituals of all the deities. However, in some Yoga and Yogini Tantras, the differences in the rituals are slightly different, and they should be followed accordingly. Here is a summary: Offer with the nature of the deity, make the torma, purified ground, and hearth. For pacifying, increasing, subjugating, and accomplishing, the east and south of the mandala, the west and north are the hearths. Facing northeast, southwest, the teacher places water and offering vessels on the left. On the right are firewood, butter, etc., the substances to be burned, and after lighting the fire, spread kusha grass in the hearth and cover it. Light the firewood well with butter, unite the fire and its wisdom body, and make offerings with offerings, etc. Pour the spoon into the mouth, and satisfy it with the pouring of butter. According to the ability of the patron, do it with a right-handed gesture. Then, also with butter, etc., pour offerings into the spoon. Foot water, mouth water, incense water, offering water, foot water, hand water, in front of the body, juice in the mouth, firewood light, food, etc., offer in the hand. Flowers on the head, burn incense, etc., lamp in front, fragrant water and food. Fire god and the remaining deities, make them satisfied, etc. Butter and sesame and the tip of durva, rice and food and porridge, kusha grass, barley, barley and, mung beans, grass and udumbara, pippala, banyan, nyagrodha, mango, arga, sandalwood and, senge, bekan, kashami, ghambi, vira, apamarga. After burning in order, clothes, etc., and, recite and ring the bell and praise. Ask for forgiveness from the gods and the fire god, accomplishment.

Please invite and welcome to descend. Virtuous deeds such as tranquility, from reversing all things, non-virtuous deeds. How to properly engage in reading and actions with mind and body as appropriate. Or, do everything only with the mind. Inwardly possessing the essence of compassion, in the fire of emptiness and wisdom, burn sentient beings, and offer to the victorious ones. Thus it is said. The blazing rays of wisdom, with the waves of grasping at existence and non-existence, exhaust the substances to be burned. The lotus that appears supremely, its petals opening, laughing, the aspect of perfect completeness. After the nectar of virtue, which is so well spoken of in this way, has been empowered, may beings attain the perfect completeness of the body of Vajradhara. Thus, the "A Garland of Light: A Ritual of Fire Offering" is completed. Composed by the great Pandit Abhayakaragupta, blessed by the Holy Mother Vajrayogini. The Indian Abbot, the Great Pandit, the All-Knowing Glorious Bhadra, self-arose (this ritual) at Drangsong Sinburi in Central Tibet. Thereafter, great scholars who were well-versed in all fields of knowledge, and great beings who had attained accomplishment, nourished their minds with the stream of nectar of their speech, the teacher, the rays of the Sun King, who focused on reality itself, and Chag Lotsawa, the monk Dharma King Glorious, translated and established it well. Later, Shong Lotsawa, the monk Lodan, excellently revised and corrected it. Two hundred and seventy-five verses. The "A Garland of Light: A Ritual of Fire Offering."
