The Method of Accomplishment of the Noble Hayagriva, by Marme Dze Yeshe. The Method of Accomplishment of the Noble Hayagriva. By Marme Dze Yeshe. Those who wish to accomplish the Noble Hayagriva should first recite this mantra: Oṃ svabhāva viśuddhaḥ sarva dharmāḥ svabhāva viśuddho'haṃ (藏文:ཨོཾ་སྭ་བྷཱ་བི་ཤུདྡྷཿསརྦ་དྷརྨཱཿ་སྭ་བྷཱ་བ་བི་ཤུདྡྷོ྅ཧ༵་,梵文天城体:ॐ स्वभाव विशुद्धः सर्व धर्माः स्वभाव विशुद्धोऽहं,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ svabhāva viśuddhaḥ sarva dharmāḥ svabhāva viśuddho'haṃ,汉语字面意思:Om, purity of nature, all dharmas, purity of nature, I am). By reciting this three or seven times, contemplate that all phenomena of existence and non-existence are pure. In particular, contemplate that one's own body is completely pure, like a pure crystal egg. Then, in one's own heart, contemplate a yellow Raṃ (藏文:རཾ,梵文天城体:रं,梵文罗马拟音:raṃ,汉语字面意思:Raṃ) from which light radiates and gathers, and from this, contemplate a sun mandala. On top of the sun mandala, contemplate a red Hrīḥ (藏文:ཧྲཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,汉语字面意思:Hrīḥ). From this, rays of light like lassos and iron hooks radiate in the ten directions, inviting the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, glorious Hayagriva, and lamas, etc., to come before you. From the Hrīḥ (藏文:ཧྲཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,汉语字面意思:Hrīḥ) in your own heart, emanate offering goddesses: the incense goddess holding incense in her hands, the flower goddess holding an utpala flower in her hands, the lamp goddess holding a jewel lamp in her hands, the scented water goddess holding a golden vase filled with camphor water, and the food goddess holding a golden platter filled with nectar as large as Mount Meru. With these, make offerings to the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, glorious Hayagriva, and lamas, etc., and recite these mantras: Oṃ Vajra Dhūpe Āḥ Hūṃ Svāhā (藏文:ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་དྷཱུ་པེ་ཨཱཿཧཱུ༵་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ vajra dhūpe āḥ hūṃ svāhā,汉语字面意思:Om, Vajra, Incense, Ah, Hum, Svaha), Oṃ Vajra Puṣpe Āḥ Hūṃ Svāhā (藏文:ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་པུཥྤེ་ཨཱཿཧཱུ༵་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ vajra puṣpe āḥ hūṃ svāhā,汉语字面意思:Om, Vajra, Flower, Ah, Hum, Svaha), Oṃ Vajra Āloke Āḥ Hūṃ Svāhā (藏文:ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་ཨཱ་ལོ་ཀེ་ཨཱཿ་ཧཱུ༵་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ vajra āloke āḥ hūṃ svāhā,汉语字面意思:Om, Vajra, Light, Ah, Hum, Svaha), Oṃ Vajra Gandhe Āḥ Hūṃ Svāhā (藏文:ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་གནྡྷེ་ཨཱཿཧཱུ༵་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ vajra gandhe āḥ hūṃ svāhā,汉语字面意思:Om, Vajra, Scent, Ah, Hum, Svaha), Oṃ Vajra Naivedye Āḥ Hūṃ Svāhā (藏文:ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་ནཻ་བི་དྱེ་ཨཱཿཧཱུ༵་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ vajra naivedye āḥ hūṃ svāhā,汉语字面意思:Om, Vajra, Food, Ah, Hum, Svaha). Then, say these words: Whatever sins I have committed at all times, Frightened, I confess as in a dream, From today onwards, I will not do them again. I rejoice in all virtuous deeds, I hold the Buddhas and Bodhi in my mind, I dedicate all to supreme Bodhi, To attain that, I will abide on the path, I take refuge in the sacred Three Jewels. Then, cultivate loving-kindness, compassion, joy, equanimity, and the abodes of Brahma in sequence. Om, emptiness, wisdom, vajra, nature, I am). Recite this three times, and with samadhi, contemplate that all dharmas are empty like the sky. Then, in the center of the sky, from a yellow Raṃ (藏文:རཾ,梵文天城体:रं,梵文罗马拟音:raṃ,汉语字面意思:Raṃ) light radiates, and from this, contemplate a sun mandala.

Visualize. On top of the sun disc, visualize a five-pronged vajra emanating light from a blue Hūṃ (ཧཱུ༵,梵文天城体:हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,literal meaning: Hūṃ). From that five-pronged vajra, light radiates in the ten directions, visualizing a vajra fence, vajra net, vajra ground, and vajra tent. In the center of the vajra ground, on top of the sun disc, visualize a white Bhrūṃ (བྷྲཱུཾ་,梵文天城体:भ्रूं,梵文罗马拟音:bhrūṃ,literal meaning: Bhrūṃ). From it, light radiates, the east is made of silver, the south is made of lapis lazuli, the west is made of red coral, the north is made of gold, with four doors, supported by eight golden pillars, the top covered with precious lapis lazuli trees, a palace hanging with countless precious banners. Or, meditate on a skull palace, the size of a three-thousand-great-thousand world system. The top is covered with a vast plain, with four doors, supported by eight sandalwood pillars with skulls as capitals, a palace that is clear inside when viewed from the outside, and clear outside when viewed from the inside. The practitioner visualizes their own mind as the letter Raṃ (རཾ་,梵文天城体:रं,梵文罗马拟音:raṃ,literal meaning: Raṃ). From the yellow Raṃ, light radiates and gathers, visualizing a sun disc. On top of the sun disc, visualize oneself as a red Hrīḥ (ཧྲཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,literal meaning: Hrīḥ). From the red Hrīḥ, rays of light radiate in the ten directions, benefiting sentient beings. After offering to the noble ones, the light dissolves back into the letter Hrīḥ, the Hrīḥ itself melts into light, and visualize that all the afflictive and cognitive obscurations from beginningless time are burned away by the fire of wisdom. The fire of wisdom radiates light and gathers, and one becomes the Bhagavan, glorious Hayagriva, with three heads and six arms, the body red in color, the center red, the right white, the left blue, with three eyes. On top of the three heads are three green horse heads. Gnashing teeth, each face emits the sound of a million dragons roaring. Wearing a crown of five dry skulls, adorned with a garland of wet skulls on the hair, the limbs adorned with black and white snakes, wearing a wet tiger skin as a lower garment, wearing a wet elephant hide as clothing. In the six hands, the first right hand holds a five-pronged vajra, the first left hand holds a large conch filled with blood, the second right hand holds a golden
