The verses for invoking the departed are: Om, you accomplish all the meanings of sentient beings, Grant the attainments that are in accordance. Even after passing away to the Buddha-field, Please cause to come again. Muḥ, this is it. Then, the hundred-syllable mantra of the essence of Vajrasattva: Oṃ vajrasattva samaya, mānupālaya, vajrasattva tvenopatiṣṭha dṛḍho me bhava, sutoṣyo me bhava, anurakto me bhava, supoṣyo me bhava, sarva siddhiṃ me prayaccha, sarva karma suca me cittam śriyaḥ kuru hūṃ, ha ha ha ha hoḥ bhagavān sarva tathāgata vajra mā me muñca vajrī bhava mahāsamayasattva āḥ, this is it. Then, the mantra for recitation is: Oṃ āḥ dhīḥ hūṃ, this is it. Again: Oṃ vajra tīkṣṇa duḥkhacchedaprajñājñānamūrtaye, jñānakāya vāgīśvara, arapacana dhiḥ, this is the mantra for recitation.
