The Sadhana of the Hundred-Syllable Mantra of the King with Three Vows, Kedarandhi. The Sadhana of the Hundred-Syllable Mantra of the King with Three Vows. Kedarandhi. In Sanskrit: Tri-samaya-vyuha-raja-shata-akshara-sadhanam. In Tibetan: The Sadhana of the Hundred-Syllable Mantra of the King with Three Vows. Homage to all the Tathagatas of the three times. Here, it cuts the stream of bad destinies, and is the source of all manifest siddhis. In order to purify the sins accumulated in the past, I pay homage to all the gurus. There, first the yogi, generates the mind of enlightenment, pleases the guru and receives permission, obtains the oral instructions as they are, abandons worldly dharmas, cherishes compassion for all sentient beings, and delights in constant meditation and recitation. This is the yoga spoken by the Victorious One. In a great monastery, or in a charnel ground, forest, or near a stupa, adorned with gatherings of flowers and fruits, under an Ashoka tree, all the assembled siddhis are accomplished. The yogi who possesses all qualities, in a forest that is agreeable to the mind, sits well on a soft cushion, assumes the vajra posture, and with the mantra of the Wrathful King of Desire, destroys all obstacles. Namaḥ samanta-kāya-vāka-citta-vajrāṇāṃ trat kṛta hūṃ jaḥ śaḥ. Universal! Body! Speech! Mind! Vajra! Respect! Make! Hum! Ja! Sha! Then, reciting the mantra in order for the three parts, protect the three parts of the body: Om bhur svāhā. Bhur! Svaha! Om bhuva svāhā. Bhuva! Svaha! Om bhurbhuva svāhā. Bhurbhuva! Svaha! Recite well the essence of the lineage, and with fresh and unused kusha grass, cut twelve finger-lengths of the purifier, and place it on the ring finger. Om ajina jika. Ajina! Jika! With red-yellow cow's milk, cow's yogurt and butter, cow's water and dung, facing east, squatting without speaking, mix them and drink about three ounces with palasha leaves. Om vāka viśuddhaye svāhā. Vaka! Vishuddhaye! Svaha! Then go to the water's edge and wash the whole body or the five limbs, repelling the obstacles of water: Scoop up water with the right hand, raise the threatening mudra of the left hand, and recite: Om du pi kāya du pi du pi svāhā. Du pi kaya! Du pi! Du pi! Svaha! Having recited, sprinkle it on the body. The mantra for washing the whole body: Om prakriti pariśuddhaḥ sarva dharmāḥ phra kriti

Pari Shuddho Nyam Hum. Then, with the right hand holding a fist, raise the thumb and bend the index finger, touching the five places of the heart, throat, crown of the head, and both shoulders, and protect oneself with the mantra of the wrathful one, free from impurities: Om Vajra Krodha Hum Jah. Bend the middle finger and ring finger of the right hand: Om Shuddhe Ntu Shodhaya Svaha. Then, without distraction, go to the meditation chamber, and visualize the Bhagavan Samaya King (as explained below) and his retinue in the sky in front. By saying "Om Sarva Tathagata Pada Vandanam Karomi," prostrate to the feet. By saying "Om Pravara Satkara Pratichchha Rasa Svaha," offer water for washing the feet. And offer the five offerings as you can afford, or if you cannot afford them, emanate them from the mind. Om Vajra Pushpe Hum. Om Vajra Gandhe Hum. Om Vajra Dhupe Hum. Om Vajra Naivedye Hum. Om Vajra Aloke Hum. Offer the offerings in the proper order, and confess sins, etc.: Whatever sins I, powerless, have committed, or caused others to commit, or rejoiced in their actions, all of these, in front of the supreme Bodhi, I now confess each and every one. The two accumulations of the Sugata's sons, for the sake of benefiting all beings extensively, accomplishing all things and others, I respectfully rejoice. Possessing a heart pervaded by compassion, wisdom free from defilements, destroying all groups of ignorance, dwelling within the lotus of all lineages, I take refuge in the Sugatas. The joyful garden of the supreme wise ones, the victory grove of the fearful ones, the supreme one who overpowers the yoga of existence, I take refuge in the supreme Dharma. Destroying the poison of the illusions of attachment and so on, the wise victorious ones, greatly compassionate, I take refuge in the assembly of good conduct. I prostrate to those who are free from existence and peace. Recite thus, and likewise generate Bodhicitta, encourage the turning of the wheel of Dharma, supplicate, and dedicate the root of virtue. Having thus accumulated merit, view all that is stable and moving as emptiness. To stabilize that, recite the mantra.
