Being completely free from all faults, desiring to benefit all sentient beings, constantly becoming the master of all things, homage to Vajrasattva! Having been empowered as the great Vajradhara, the master Vajradhara, possessing all characteristics, one should cause the deities of the five families to dwell. Among these, the qualities of the teacher are these: stable, disciplined, and endowed with intelligence, possessing patience, upright, without deceit, knowing the union of mantra and tantra, skilled in the work of drawing mandalas, completely knowing those ten, this is called a teacher. The secret mantras taught by him will be accomplished, there is no doubt about this. Mandala and supreme samādhi, mudrā, standing posture, seat, recitation, homa, and offering, the essential union of actions, thus knowing those ten, abandoning the inferior mind. First, having bathed well, wearing clean clothes, binding the topknot, adorned with all ornaments, or according to appearance, enter the temple, gather all implements, know the time with auspicious dates and stars, decorate the place with umbrellas, banners, and so on that increase glory and victory, and also examine the mandala and so on that are suitable for the patron. Then, with the five essences of a cow and scented water, recite Vajrayakṣa and smear the place. Then, the mantra of Vajrayakṣa is this: oṃ vajra yakṣa hūṃ (藏文，梵文天城体：，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ vajra yakṣa hūṃ，汉语字面意思：Om, Vajra, Yaksha, Hum), after that, smear with water mixed with fragrance, and at dawn, perform the union of the wheel-turning king of one's own family's deity, or perform great yoga. Do not violate the ritual, because always despising consecration, there will be great suffering in this life, and great fear in other worlds. Therefore, one who desires accomplishment should do what he can, and also strive in every way as it is said in the ritual.

Inside those, five grains, five medicines, and five precious jewels should be put, filled with water mixed with fragrance, the neck tied with a pair of cloths, and the mouth decorated with fragrant petals. On top, a banner and a cloth banner, and on a platform surrounded by silk and bells, the wise should bathe the deities. Then, contemplate the Samaya-sattva, and with the Jnana-sattva, the mantras and mudras of the vajra hook, etc., perform the summoning, etc. Then, the three syllables Om（藏文：ཨོཾ，梵文天城体：ओम्，梵文罗马拟音：Oṃ，汉语字面意思：圆满）, Ah（藏文：ཨཱཿ，梵文天城体：आः，梵文罗马拟音：Āḥ，汉语字面意思：生起）, Hum（藏文：ཧཱུཾ，梵文天城体：हुं，梵文罗马拟音：Hūṃ，汉语字面意思：降伏）, or the seed syllable of that deity, should be arranged and contemplated.
