It is so. On the third ground, that Bodhisattva, by the power of the Tathagata's compassion, raises the banner of love. On the fourth ground, the Tathagata turns the wheel of Dharma for that Bodhisattva. On the fifth ground, that wheel of Dharma is the power of Samadhi. On the sixth ground, that Samadhi generates the wisdom that perfects it. On the seventh ground, that Bodhisattva generates compassion for sentient beings. On the eighth ground, that Bodhisattva turns the wheel of Dharma. On the ninth ground, he makes offerings with uncontaminated offerings. On the tenth ground, he is empowered as the banner of Dharma. The great Dharma wisdom of the tenth ground, on the eleventh ground, pacifies obstacles. He abandons the predispositions of ignorance and evil destinies, and so forth. On the twelfth ground, body, speech, and mind are indestructible like a vajra, and he ultimately attains perfect Buddhahood. Thereafter, with the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu, the mirror-like wisdom, the wisdom of equality, the wisdom of discernment, and the wisdom of accomplishing activities, he experiences bliss without clinging to emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, the unconditioned, and those things as objects of grasping and being grasped. In the stage of subsequent attainment, he engages in generosity, ethics, patience, diligence, meditation, wisdom, aspiration, skillful means, the power of faith, the power of diligence, the power of mindfulness, and the power of Samadhi. The definite number will be known below. Therefore, the deities of the Vajradhatu are definitely in order in conventional truth. The establishment of the deities of the great mandala of the Vajradhatu, which shows the ultimate yoga, is the first chapter. Then again, what should be said is: The determination of the conventional speech of the deities who are the four root families, I will write briefly. Therein, for the time being, Vairocana is definitely four-faced, and Vajrasattva Mother and others are definitely Samaya mudras. Akshobhya and others are always one-faced. Vajrasattva has two faces. Vajrakarma has one face each. Playful woman and others

Etc. are धारण (dharana, holding) the posture of a woman. Iron hooks etc. are धारण (dharana, holding) the posture of wrath. Question: Why is Vairocana Buddha necessarily four-faced? Answer: This is to serve the Vajra Acharya, that is, from the vase initiation, for the joy of the Tathagata Acharya, Vairocana Buddha faces the four directions. Because it says so in the sutra. Question: Are Vajrasattva Mother etc. not the mudras of Samaya? Answer: This is to show for the sake of the beings to be tamed. That is, in the "Compendium of All Truths Sutra" it says: For the benefit of heretics, the Buddha appears as a monk, with mudras. Because it says so in the sutra. If so, then Akshobhya Buddha etc. should not look at the face of Vairocana Buddha. Answer: This is in terms of the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu. In the Wrathful Tantra it says: For example, from the great earth, trees etc. arise, from the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu, other wisdoms also arise. Because it says so in the sutra. Vajrasattva etc. must be two-faced, Vajra King etc. must be one-faced, this is in terms of the main deity. That is, in the "Dragon Sound Expanding Sutra" it says: Not common, each sees two faces, the common main deity is one, Vajra King etc., must be one-faced. Because it says so in the sutra. Coquettish woman etc. धारण (dharana, holding) the posture of a woman, this is in terms of faith and understanding. That is, in the "Great Vairocana Buddha Sutra" it says: Beings have different faiths and understandings, the Buddha's body also appears accordingly. Because it says so in the sutra. Question: How is it that Vajra Iron Hook etc. धारण (dharana, holding) the posture of wrath? Answer: This is to cut off the obstacles of afflictions etc., possessing the characteristics of accomplishments etc., this is expressed euphemistically. That is, in the "Manjushri Sutra" it says: In order to cut off the afflictions and demonic obstacles, in order to bestow supreme accomplishments, Vajra Iron Hook etc., must be the posture of wrath. Because it says so in the sutra, therefore, these victors are mentioned from the teachings of the Sugata, if understood in this way, then it will be extremely violating the vows, like telling the blind person the merits of milk.

It is not appropriate to speak, but out of compassion, I will speak a little. What is asked, what is the definite order? That is to say, from the wisdom that is free from the two graspers of subject and object, abiding in the clear nature of that itself, not distinguishing between self and others, experiencing the truth, becoming the cause of benefiting sentient beings, that itself is because it gradually returns from the conventional signs, the main determination is the retinue, and the determination of each is that and that, so combine them accordingly. Combine them accordingly with generosity and so on, and it has been widely explained elsewhere, so it is not done here because of the complexity. Innumerable, if according to the former view, it is because it is incomplete and unnecessary, if according to the latter view, it is because the four wisdoms of the Dharmadhatu arise, so each of them has four qualities, and for the coquettish ones and so on, it is because the inner and outer offerings and the summoning and abiding are sufficient, so the Vajradhatu deities are definitely determined in number and order in the ultimate sense. From the establishment of the deities of the Vajradhatu mandala, the chapter on showing the conventional and ultimate yoga, which is the second chapter. The establishment of the Vajradhatu mandala, called the work of the teacher Mutita Kosha, is completed. The Indian abbot Padmakara Varma and the Tibetan translator, the monk Rinchen Sangpo, translated, proofread, and finalized it. The establishment of the deities of the great Vajradhatu mandala. Mutita Kosha.
