Herein, five meanings are extensively explained. With four meanings, one is led onto the path. Remembering and knowing as illusion, practicing, habituating, and guiding, etc., have been extensively taught above. The four meanings to be practiced are: first, holding onto dreams, then practicing and learning as illusion, then further increasing, and meditating on the meaning of only that. Knowing all phenomena as dreams, one engages diligently for the benefit of sentient beings. By taking the path as illusion, one also attains enlightenment like an illusion. A garland of words for attaining enlightenment based on dreams with habitual tendencies. The practice of the path of clear light: All phenomena are naturally clear light, primordially pure like the sky. The three wisdoms are all extremely pure, being the cause of the three appearances. Having entered into the objects without remainder, one enters into the clear light. It is neither empty nor does it not show; in the Middle Way, there is also no object of focus. Just as in a clear river, fish leap quickly, so too, from all emptiness and clarity, the net of illusion arises and ceases. This clear light has five aspects: the clear light of suchness, the arising of the clear light of wisdom, the clear light of samadhi, likewise, the clear light of reality, and the clear light of realization are taught. It has five times: the time of death, abiding in the central channel, the time of entering and exiting samadhi, the time of oneness after samadhi, and the time of insight realization. From the manifestation of clear light, the union arises from it. A garland of words on the clear light of enlightenment through deep sleep. The distinctions of transference are very many: transference through practice, samadhi, and through life and effort, transference through the effort of the body, transference of consciousness to the guru, transference through force, transference of the non-conceptual dharmakaya, transference of the conceptual form kaya, transference of the enjoyment sambhogakaya, and transference of the pleasing dakini. All of these are of one taste, in the three of preliminaries, main practice, and conclusion, circling the knees and ringing the bell, holding the measure of one hundred and eight, holding it in the heart and concealing it, when the breath has ceased, resting evenly in the nostrils, when one desires to hold the central channel, one should guide it to the wheel of bliss, placing the consciousness in the pure land of bliss, complete.

Transfer consciousness through the door of the earth. Without being affected by epidemics and the like. The practice of transferring consciousness is supreme. When the time is ripe, transfer consciousness; if not, it becomes killing the gods. Just as from bodies of mud, the wisdom body arises spontaneously. Attaining Buddhahood without cultivation is the pith instruction of transference. Raising oneself on the path of the bardo: Firstly, with the three appearances, recognize the clear light through absorption. Secondly, through pure and impure, through the door of illusion, there is a way to attain Buddhahood in the intermediate state. Thirdly, blocking the womb entrance, and fourthly, closing the womb entrance. Therein, in the bardo of birth and death, meditate and attain Buddhahood; practice fierce fire and the illusory body. When one has become accustomed to that, mix dream and illusory body, and train in the dream bardo. When dream and illusory body are mastered, in the bardo at the time of death, through mixing with the clear light, with the remaining force of the illusory body's retention of the essence, when all habitual tendencies are burned, having been purified by the fire of clear light, attain Buddhahood in the body of union. For the individual who enters gradually, the way consciousness arises is as follows: appearance dissolves, and conception dissolves. Coarse dissolves, and subtle dissolves. Through familiarity with the dissolution, the clear light arises naturally. After that, union arises. Two kinds of bodies arise: those of learners and those of non-learners. When one becomes a non-learner, it is taught that the result has been obtained. Those things shown above, if explained in detail, are as follows: Firstly, when a little realization arises in the mind-stream through scripture, reasoning, and pith instructions, the way appearances cease is shown: Form dissolves into sound, and sound also dissolves into smell, and smell also dissolves into taste. Gradually dissolving up to touch. Earth, water, fire, and wind, those gradually dissolve into consciousness. Consciousness greatly dissolves into appearance. The outer sign is seen like the rising moon. The inner sign arises like smoke. That appearance dissolves into increase. The outer sign of the great dissolution of increase is like the rising sun. The awareness arises like a lamp. When increase is obtained and dissolves into attainment, the outer sign arises like darkness. Wisdom appears like a lamp. When attainment dissolves into clear light, the outer sign is like the dawning of the morning hour, the rising of the gray light. The inner awareness is like the sky, appearing like clouds.
