Becoming the lord and becoming independent. Wherever one goes, one possesses all desires. Thus, one dwells in joy and happiness. Hands and feet, eyes and face, and bodies, generating many and causing destruction, therefore one is called subtle. Space and wind, and earth, water and fire dwell therein, gathering and expanding, certainly, therefore one is called vast. Worshipped in the three realms, the dweller, the traveler, and all beings praise, therefore one is worthy of worship. Exercising power over all beings, the dweller, the traveler, and doing whatever one desires, therefore one is called becoming the lord. Dependent on oneself, possessing autonomy, having no fear of anything, everything becomes independent, therefore one is called all independent. Pervading all heavens and hells, therefore one is called wherever one goes. Courage, dust, and darkness, wherever they dwell, one can do it merely by opening the eyes, therefore one is called possessing all desires. Liberation or the body of a god, whatever one desires, everything can be obtained through desire, therefore one is called dwelling in joy and happiness. Who is subtle, born alone and abiding. He generates and destroys all of this. He is the powerful, the giver of excellence, the supreme god. Obtaining the virtuous one, extremely peaceful. This born one has no knowledge, one's own suffering and happiness one has no autonomy. Sent by the independent one, either going to the heavens, or merely falling into a cliff. If the independent one does not shape various things like a potter, then Mount Meru would not be formed, this earth would not be, the ocean would not be either, the arrangement of the sun, moon, and stars would not appear before our eyes. Because it exists, some say that the independent one is the creator of beings. Subtle and inconceivable, extremely thin, all-knowing, all-doing. Obtained through the practice of yoga, the object of meditation for the wise and the meditators. The sun and moon, water, fire, wind, directions, and the body of space, those who desire peaceful joy, should always meditate on the independent one. Those who speak of relying on time, all things are transformed by time. Whose grandfather is the god of wealth, whose father is the increaser of wealth, the fearless wrathful one was also killed, therefore time is difficult to pass.

Ah, it is. All beings are destroyed by time. Sentient beings gather and are scattered by time. Time awakens those who sleep. Time is indeed difficult to overcome. The triple-layered protection, the abyss, is the ocean, the soldier, the demon, the wealth is the combination of wealth and cloth. Whatever is taught, the enlightened one is equal to the measure, that son who proclaims the sound is also diminished by the power of time. Those who say that self-nature is the cause are: Things are accomplished by self-nature. The redness of fire, the holiness of benefiting others, the uncompassionate nature of the unholy, these three are accomplished by self-nature. Who made the thorns sharp? Who made the patterns of mountain deer and birds? The sweetness of sugarcane, and the snow of Mapakha, all these are accomplished by self-nature. The heat of day and night, the extreme coolness of the moon, the attachment of beings, and the ability to endure are not that, the coolness of happiness, the extreme burning of suffering, these six are accomplished by self-nature. Those who say there is no cause are: Everything does not depend on a cause, things arise naturally, such as the stamens of sun lotuses, who made the various things? Likewise, the plumage of peacocks, who conjured up the various things? Just as rain and wind, because they arise suddenly, seem to be without cause, likewise, suffering and so on are without cause. Extremely vast, very profound, lazy and extremely unlearned, like myself, speaking purely out of ignorance, seemingly pure, they slander the Great Vehicle. Falling from discipline is serious, but falling from view is not so, with discipline one goes to the heavens, with view one attains the supreme state. Controlled by the power of ignorance, whatever truly obstructs, for that one there is no path of virtue, what need is there to speak of no liberation? Having become the seed of harm, having seen many non-Buddhist practitioners, for those beings who desire liberation, who would not feel compassion? Therefore, those who seek liberation, should contemplate the realm of Dharma. The Song of Contemplating the Realm of Dharma. Completed is the work of the great teacher, this Pamkara. Translated by the Indian abbot himself, and the Tibetan translator, the monk Tsultrim Gyalwa. The Song of Contemplating the Realm of Dharma.
