First, the chapter on asking questions is taught. First, the chapter on asking questions is taught. Here, in order to benefit those of intermediate capacity, the difference between the beginning and the end is shown. Following the Explanatory Tantra, fourteen chapters are taught, and first, the chapter on asking questions is taught. Then, "Then, the glorious Vajradhara," and so on, are mentioned. The word "then" is a connecting word, meaning that after the root tantra of one hundred and twenty-six thousand chapters has been explained above, this chapter, which is the essence of the secret teachings of the True Name, sung in song, is asked. "Glory" is the glory of realizing oneself, and the glory of compassion for others. Vajrapani himself possesses both. "Vajradhara" is the one who holds the five inseparable wisdoms of the vajra of profound meaning. It is also called "inseparable vajra," and is the sole hero of the three realms. As it is said, as a symbol of possessing such meaning, he carries a large, five-pronged iron vajra. What kind of activities does he perform? "The best of those who tame the untamable, the hero who conquers the three worlds." As it is said, Brahma, Vishnu, and so on, are tamed. All the Buddhas gathered at the top of Mount Meru and empowered Vajrapani, so he is called the best. He is fearless himself and destroys the armies of others, so he is a hero. Mahadeva, the lord of the underworld, Vishnu, the lord of the earth, and Brahma, the lord of the heavens, are the three gods of body, speech, and mind of the outsiders. By subduing these three, he conquers the three worlds. This is also a symbol of subduing the three inner afflictions. What are his lineage and symbols? "Vajra Freedom is the Secret King." As it is said, he is of the Vajra lineage, and also the collector of secret mantras, the master of the arrow of the Vajrayana, so he is also Vajra Freedom. He possesses secret vows and overcomes inner afflictions and malicious beings, so he is called the Victor. What is his face like? "Eyes like a blooming white lotus, possessing a face like a blooming lotus." As it is said, just as a lotus grows from mud but is not stained by the faults of the mud, Vajrapani himself appears very wrathful, but he has no afflictions within, so he is white. Eye
