There, write the letters of the name placed within "Nama." Abandoning filth and so forth, place matching clay pots together, filling them with butter and honey, wrap them with white thread, and set them down. Facing east, meditate on Yamari with a white body for three sessions. Offer white flowers, and visualize the object of subjugation residing on a lunar mandala in front. From there, looking west, possess the samadhi of red Yamari. Offer red flowers in three sessions, and contemplate the one to be subdued, residing on the red moon, as red in color. Radiate light from your own body, completely filling it with rays of light, becoming extremely intoxicated. Visualize (the one to be subdued) falling in front of your feet and recite the mantra. If not subdued, offer only a wheel without butter and honey, burning sandalwood on a smokeless fire. The mantras for these are: Om Hrīḥ Ṣṭrīḥ Vikṛtānana Hūṃ Hūṃ Phaṭ Phaṭ Hoḥ Che-ge mo mama vaśaṃ kuru Hoḥ. Om Hrīḥ Ṣṭrīḥ Vikṛtānana Hūṃ Hūṃ Phaṭ Phaṭ Vauṣaṭ Che-ge mo vaśa mānaya Vauṣaṭ. This is the ritual of subjugation. On cloth from a charnel ground or cloth made from red dye, clearly draw two wheels with the essence of Dharma. Write the letters of the name (of the one to be subdued) included between the letters Ja or Hrīḥ. Place it between two overturned clay pots or an overturned woman's skull, wrap it in red cloth, and offer red flowers. Visualize the form of red Yamari, like the sun at dusk, holding a lasso and a hook. Visualize piercing the heart of the one to be subdued with the hook, binding the neck with the lasso, and pulling. If they do not come, then burn it on a sandalwood fire. Om Hrīḥ Ṣṭrīḥ Vikṛtānana Hūṃ Hūṃ Phaṭ Phaṭ Jaḥ Devadatta Ākarṣaya Jaḥ. This is the ritual of hooking the feet. Above the peaks is an earth mandala marked with Laṃ, surrounded by various vajras, bound with yellow thread. Visualize yourself as yellow Yamari, with the one to be subdued as yellow, facing south, sitting on the earth mandala. Visualize being pressed down by seven golden mountains and the supreme Mount Meru, and the earth mandala being pressed down by various crossed vajras, and recite (the mantra).
