The Quintessence of the Four Yogas, called Self-Blessing. Glorious Holder. The Quintessence of the Four Yogas, called Self-Blessing. Glorious Holder. Yoga. In Indian language: Sva Adhisthana Catu Yoga Tattva Upadesha Nama. In Tibetan: The Quintessence of the Four Yogas, called Self-Blessing. Homage to the Bhagavan Red Yamari. Moistened by extremely non-elaborate compassion. Homage to the glorious Great Blissful One. The order of self-blessing is clearly explained by the kindness of the Guru. Respect the Guru, have vows, have compassion, think of the benefit of sentient beings, the practitioner in a secluded place, accomplish the supreme siddhi. The four supreme yogas are explained. By form, mantra, blessing, and pure wisdom, one is liberated from the bonds of existence. Sequentially or simultaneously, contemplate the remembrance of the Buddha, with the self-nature of condensation, this body is Red Yamari. This is not matter, nor is it flesh and blood. It is neither true nor false. It is not ordinary but a wisdom body. Clear and bright without defilement. The basis of all perfect qualities. This is not different from me. There is no need to abandon or add anything. By the kindness of the infallible Guru, know that it is inherently complete. All sentient beings see this, or hear or remember it, the union body that fulfills wishes. Thus, see yourself clearly. From the seed of my heart, the light of the three realms radiates, in the realm of what is seen, heard, and remembered, there is nothing left unfulfilled. All that is solid and moving, is the glorious Red Yamari. This is not the three realms but the immeasurable palace, this is not sentient beings but the Buddhas. Not aggregates, elements, and sense bases, this is not the three realms but the mandala. The essence of self-luminous nature. Like an image in a mirror, like an illusion of samadhi. Accustom yourself like a dream, skillfully combine the intermediate state, obtain the siddhi of the Tathagata. The order of form, that is yoga. Subsequent Yoga. That which becomes the life of sentient beings, called wind.

The Compendium. This is the vehicle of consciousness, the means of attaining existence and liberation. Through bird nets, Bharata, Musala, and Atrata, one must first train the body. By training the body, the channels and winds will become well purified. Having abandoned all elaborations, one attains accomplishment through equipoise. One fills through the yoga of filling, and summons through the yoga of summoning. One attains peace through peace, and remains unmoving through the yoga of rigidity. Through the four yogas themselves, great accomplishment will arise. Having trained the three channels and three corners, one should slightly slow down one's conduct. When the senses are weary and exhausted, the mind should be placed in a state of single-pointedness. The five phenomena such as smoke will appear in an instant. One attains the accomplishments and levels of liberation such as clairvoyance and magical powers. The movement of wind is samsara, and non-movement is nirvana. Through the center of the lotus in the heart, one attains non-abiding nirvana. The yogi, through equipoise, when the crow does not crow at dawn, whatever the entering wind is, one should count it a thousand times. When the practitioner is free from sound, when one completes a hundred thousand times, even if life is exhausted, one will live for another five years, have no doubt about this. On the white Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,हुं,hūṃ) syllable in the heart, without fixating on objects etc., if one practices through the yoga of wind, one will attain clairvoyance. The transference of consciousness upwards, when the time of death arrives, one should cover the channels that have sprouted in all the orifices with letters. Through the winds of Āli and Kāli, one should purify the winds of the orifices. Combine the Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,हुं,hūṃ) syllable in the heart with wisdom. Place the half and two letters below and above. With the lower part of that wind, by looking at the seed syllables above and below, by placing the two seed syllables of wind, the one endowed with yoga binds the union. Recite the mantra of half and two letters twenty-one times in order. Wind is the vehicle of consciousness, wherever one goes, wind is regarded as the door, through the yoga of summoning and reversing, through the habit of practicing in this way, one attains the accomplishment of liberation. Now, the distinctions of the doors will be explained. The view of the realm of desire, the path of bliss, abides. The realm of form is in the bindu between the eyebrows. The door of Brahma.
