Relying on. Having finished explaining various practices such as subduing the wicked, now, wanting to show the common and supreme accomplishments by relying on mandalas, drawings, and good inner and outer conduct. In order to let those who initially like signs enter, first explain the practice called "Looking at Divination." Therefore, first look at divination, and if you see the signs of accomplishment, you should enter into practice. If you see signs that will not lead to accomplishment, you should perform the recitation again. If no signs are seen at all, you should engage in the recitation of the divination itself. Then, perform the practice of looking at divination again. The order of this is to first perform the recitation, and then perform the practice of looking at divination. Moreover, at a good time, go to a clean place and make five mandalas, each measuring about two cubits, narrowing from north to south. All of these should be based on a square, with a circle drawn in the center, filled with clean water. Scatter fragrant flowers on top of it. In the center of the first mandala, draw the hand seal of the Buddha ground, a white triangular "A" (藏文,梵文天城体:अ,梵文罗马拟音:a,汉语字面意思:阿) with colored powder and flowers. On top of it, offer and invite the five Sugatas, such as the glorious Vairochana, to reside, praising them with statues, drawings, letters, or flowers. In the second mandala, draw the hand seal of the Bodhisattva ground, a jewel. On top of it, offer and invite the Bodhisattvas such as Manjushri Kumara, and the Sangha of great Shravakas such as the venerable Kaundinya, to reside as before with statues and so on. In the third mandala, draw the hand seal of the Dharma wheel, and place the essence of dependent origination and so on. Alternatively, draw the Dharma wheel in the second mandala, and draw the Sangha Jewel in the third mandala, drawing it in accordance with the common offering method. In the fourth mandala, place the king of all Buddhas, the nature of Bodhicitta, the glorious Vajrasattva statue and so on. The fifth mandala is the goddess who shows the signs of the compassionate blessings of all the noble ones, the goddess Saraswati, adorned with all ornaments.

Everything is adorned with... Or placed on pictures, etc., or contemplated. On each of those mandalas, Argha, flowers, etc., the five types of close offerings and torma are also placed. Then the mantra practitioner, having bathed well, abiding in fasting, wearing clean white clothes, should sit on a cushion of kusha grass to the west of the mandala, facing east. A good, flawless mirror should also be well cleaned and placed on top of the fifth mandala. Then the mantra practitioner himself enters into the samadhi of his own deity, and sprinkles the offerings and mandalas with water that has been recited with the secret mantra of self-nature purity, thinking that they are completely purified. Then, first, invite all the Buddhas into the first mandala and offer them well. Similarly, for the lower mandalas, invite the deities as they are arranged and offer them in the same way. Then, the tormas are also dedicated to all beings in general, making everyone happy, and then asking the deities for forgiveness, and then beginning the recitation. At that time, holding the mirror with the left hand, the thought is that by the blessings of the noble ones, Goddess Saraswati, please be close to me, and show all good and bad, focusing on this, recite. The secret mantra is eight syllables, the first of which is I (ཨཱི་, Devanagari: ई, Romanized Sanskrit: ī, literal meaning: I). The second is La (ལ, Devanagari: ल, Romanized Sanskrit: la) and A (ཨཱ, Devanagari: आ, Romanized Sanskrit: ā) combined, which is La (ལཱ, Devanagari: ला, Romanized Sanskrit: lā). The third is Ya (ཡ, Devanagari: य, Romanized Sanskrit: ya) and U (ཨཱུ, Devanagari: ऊ, Romanized Sanskrit: ū) and Am (ཨཾ, Devanagari: अं, Romanized Sanskrit: aṃ) all combined, which is Yum (ཡཱུཾ, Devanagari: यूं, Romanized Sanskrit: yūṃ). The other letters are the previous letter itself with an I added, placing a Pi letter, which is the eighth letter, which makes all divination visible. Recite this secret mantra as much as possible, and then if you become tired, ask the deities for forgiveness, ask them to depart, and with the thought of protecting the mandala, stand up and rest a little. Then again, the next day, remove the old flowers, make a new flower mandala well, and offer the offerings and torma in the same way, and then begin the recitation. Like that, five or seven days or reaching one hundred thousand times, practicing like that is for the sake of seeing divination.
