Confessing sins and obscurations, rejoicing in merit, dedicating merit, taking refuge in the Three Jewels, generating the mind of enlightenment, relying on the path, meditating on loving-kindness, etc., and then one should contemplate emptiness. Om, shunyata jnana vajra svabhava atmako 'ham. Om, emptiness wisdom vajra nature self I). Then recite: Svabhava shuddhah sarva dharmah svabhava shuddho 'ham. Nature pure, all dharmas nature pure I). Having made all dharmas into the nature of selflessness, in the middle of that, visualize the wind mandala perfected from the letter YAM, its shape like BA. Above that, visualize the moon mandala perfected from the first vowel. Above that, from the letter DHĪḤ, generate Manjushri, the form of a youth as will be explained below, in an instant. In his heart, visualize the sun mandala perfected from the letter A. Then, from the sun mandala, light rays emanate, illuminating the ten directions of the world to the ultimate extent, and by the light rays, inspire and invite the Tathagatas and others, and visualize them entering into that very sun mandala. Manjushri himself and the Tathagatas and others become of one taste, and visualize them in the sun mandala. Meditate on the light blazing, pervading a hundred thousand yojanas. Above that, visualize a black HŪṂ, endowed with light rays of five colors. Then, by those light rays, purify the realms, and again contemplate that very HŪṂ. From that transforming, visualize a great vajra, mouth facing upwards, color black, emitting light rays. Then, visualize the form of a subtle vajra, together with Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, wrathful deities and vidyadharas, like a sesame pod in the realm of space, abiding on the sun. The Buddhas and others abiding on it completely ripen sentient beings and place each disciple on the path to enlightenment, and then again together with them, returning, visualize them entering into the form of the vajra. That very form of the vajra is the nine-faced buffalo form, with light like the fire of the kalpa of destruction, the great Vajrabhairava, able to devour the three realms, with a terrifying face, uttering haha and curling the tongue.
