Homage to the Noble Manjushri Yamari! With compassion benefiting sentient beings, like a wish-fulfilling tree. The glorious Yamari, whose radiance blazes like a fresh rain cloud, pleasing to the mind. Free from the waves of thought, born from co-emergent milk, I pay homage to that. This mandala, along with what is to be accomplished, will be explained according to the command of the glorious lama. First, with mantra, completely abandon the external and internal movements and remnants. With wisdom and compassion, contemplate in one's own heart the mantra of the seed of the mind, the rays of light pervading everywhere. From that light, arise the eight directional protectors. Adorned with eight trees, it is a fierce charnel ground. In its center, without fear, sit comfortably on a seat. For the benefit of sentient beings, engage in meditation. From that seed syllable, light radiates, and from the pores of one's own skin emerges light with five colors, purifying oneself. With that, look upon the suffering sentient beings wandering in the six realms. Contemplate them entering into the nature of the three doors of liberation. Then, with that light, invite the lama, buddhas, bodhisattvas, and the glorious Yamari, etc., and visualize them seated on a moon cushion in front. Perform prostrations, offerings, confessions, etc. I make great offerings to all perfect buddhas. I prostrate with body, speech, and mind to all perfect buddhas. I individually confess all my sins before all buddhas and bodhisattvas. I rejoice in the merit of all buddhas and bodhisattvas, as well as noble ones and ordinary beings. Are there seven aspects of nature? Furthermore, may all the merits spoken of be dedicated to perfect enlightenment. After that, taking refuge in the Three Jewels, namely taking refuge in the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, should be done in this way. Then, generate the mind of enlightenment, vowing to extensively benefit all sentient beings after attaining perfect and complete enlightenment. Then, offer one's body, offering one's own body to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Then, one should take the path, and in any case, I shall take the unsurpassed path, the essence of Vajrasattva, Yamantaka. Then, one should meditate on the four abodes of Brahma, which are the essence of loving-kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity. After that, view all phenomena as being of the nature of mind-only, and that phenomena are pure in their essence, reciting: OM SVABHAVA SHUDDHA SARVA DHARMA SVABHAVA SHUDDHO 'HAM. Furthermore, the charnel grounds appear as follows: In the Vajra direction is Shirsha: Yaksha holds a skull cup in his right hand and a skull bowl in his left hand, named Chanda, residing with a yellow color. Yaksha Paladhin, red in color, holds a rosary in his right hand and a skull bowl in his left hand, on the Menkaramja tree. Yamantaka is on the Chuta tree, named Rangjig, black in color, holds a staff in his right hand and a lotus vessel in his left hand. Drendral, holds a curved knife in his right hand and a lotus vessel in his left hand, yellow Gora Andhaka, on the vine Lama tree. Water is on the Ashoka tree, garland of light, bone of the head, white, holds a Naga lasso in his right hand and a lotus vessel in his left hand. Wind is in Kilakirava, blue, holds a blue cloth in his right hand, and a lotus vessel in his left hand, residing on the Arjuna tree. Kube
