Chapter One: Explanation of Manifest Realization Chapter One: Explanation of Manifest Realization In Sanskrit: Kṛṣṇa Yamāri Tantra Pañcikā. In Tibetan: Commentary on the Difficult Points of the Black Enemy of Yama Tantra. Homage to the Glorious Slayer of Yama! You who pervade the unreal beings, Who liberate the infinite beings From the ocean of samsara, O Blood-Drinker! To that Protector, I pay homage. Upon this profoundly deep tantra, Which the Guru has also bestowed, This explanation of the Enemy of Yama, I shall compose for the benefit of sentient beings. Thus I have heard, at one time, and so forth. Thus I have heard means that Vajrapani, while the Bhagavan was dwelling in the great mandala, heard and realized the very nature of that time. When was it? At one time; time is a measure. One means a time beyond thought; it means, at what time my mind completely abandoned all thoughts. The time of samsaric beings changes in three ways: the time of suffering, the time of great bliss, and the time beyond thought. At the time when one is overwhelmed by extreme suffering, no matter what one hears, no memory arises, because the force of suffering obscures memory. Nor is it so when the mind is intoxicated with pleasure, because then too no memory arises, because one is too intoxicated. Therefore, at the moment when those two states are completely abandoned, whatever arises is remembered; one time is that very time beyond thought. Therefore, having abandoned all thoughts, I heard what the Bhagavan said, and therefore, what I say is the intention to gather it accurately. Thus it will also be argued: Who heard at the time of being free from all thoughts? How does memory arise at a later time? Why? Because memory is called discrimination, and being beyond thought is having no thought at all. Therefore, that is not true. That thought here

The time beyond thought should be accepted by worldly people. At any time, one should not think of anything beyond the focus that clearly ascertains the meaning of words. When the mind becomes full of various thoughts, that thought will not follow and clearly remember it in the same way as remembering a single object. Therefore, here, the time beyond thought should be understood as the mind that dwells entirely on the thought of desire. On the other hand, the time beyond thought in the true sense should be abandoned. At any time, when one transcends all thoughts that can be grasped and held, since it is also the consciousness of oneself and others, how can memory and so on arise? Just as the Blessed One demonstrated Suchness in a certain place, like this, it is said that these words were heard. In "all Tathagatas" and so on, all aspects of the essence of body, speech, and mind of all Tathagatas have become the form of Vajra Woman. When the Blessed One resided in that bhaga (藏文,梵文天城体:bhaga,梵文罗马拟音:bhaga,汉语字面意思:female genitalia), the place of great bliss, it is said that such Dharma was taught. All the Tathagatas have become the bhaga (藏文,梵文天城体:bhaga,梵文罗马拟音:bhaga,汉语字面意思:female genitalia) of Vajra Woman, the Blessed One resided in the state of sacred Nirvana, and taught these words, meaning that the place where all defilement habits are completely cleared away is bhaga (藏文,梵文天城体:bhaga,梵文罗马拟音:bhaga,汉语字面意思:female genitalia). In order to experience the taste of sacred joy, the Tathagatas have become the essence of women, and in order to benefit sentient beings who are completely afflicted by object habits, they teach in this way. Therefore, they emanate and reside in the bhaga (藏文,梵文天城体:bhaga,梵文罗马拟音:bhaga,汉语字面意思:female genitalia) of women, and in order to liberate sentient beings who follow great desire and are completely afflicted by object attachment, the Blessed One begins to act in this way. Therefore, Bodhisattvas should not fear objects as the cause of Bodhi wisdom, and should not block or reject their doors, because they are the essence of the Tathagatas and are sacred.
