Chapter Twelve: Explanation on the Definitive Teaching of the Supreme Accomplishment of the Vajra Union and Samaya of All Tathagatas. Chapter Twelve: Explanation on the Definitive Teaching of the Supreme Accomplishment of the Vajra Union and Samaya of All Tathagatas. In order to accomplish the fruit as spoken, the union of deities is performed, and to request the blessing of body, speech, and mind. Beginning with "Then," etc., the twelfth chapter explains the supreme chapter on accomplishing the vajra union and samaya of all Tathagatas. In order to attain heaven and liberation, the teacher teaches to the realm of sentient beings. Giving and bestowing Buddha and others, it is therefore generation. The wisdom of the Tathagata is supreme wisdom, and in order to accomplish and perfect it, it is the accomplishment of supreme wisdom. The vajras of body, speech, and mind are the three samaya vajras. The suchness of these is the vajra speech, and giving teachings is speaking. "Like space and equal, and samaya arises, these musical instruments are well meditated upon," thus connecting. Arising is becoming, therefore arising is sentient beings. The nature of those sentient beings is like space and equal, therefore it is like space, free from all concepts and elaborations, and unborn in ultimate truth. Therefore, "Because all dharmas are pure in their own nature" is spoken. Because of that unbornness, the nature of all dharmas is pure. "These musical instruments are well meditated upon," that is, meditating on Manjushri Vajra and others, explaining the abode of the nature, starting from the letter (Tibetan: མཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: मं, Sanskrit Romanization: maṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Mang), in the manner previously spoken, visualize oneself as Noble Manjushri. Writing the letter (Tibetan: མཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: मं, Sanskrit Romanization: maṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Mang) on body, speech, and mind, and residing in the center of one's own mandala, if one meditates well on the Manjushri sound, then the Manjushri sound will be accomplished. By meditating on the subtle vajra, making the mind firm, and visualizing the five amritas as the body, speech, and mind of Noble Manjushri with the letter (Tibetan: མཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: मं, Sanskrit Romanization: maṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Mang), making a pill from that blazing fire, wrapping it with three irons, and placing it in the mouth, then the nature of the body, speech, and mind of Noble Manjushri will be accomplished.

For the yoga of Vairochana or the Great Ushnishachakra, from the seed syllable ཨོཾ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ओँ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om) or the seed syllable བྷྲཱུཾ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari: भ्रूँ, Romanized Sanskrit: bhrūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Bhrūṃ), contemplate oneself in the center of one's own mandala, with the light of the wheel blazing and radiating intensely, and contemplate it as the abode of all Buddhas, then one will achieve accomplishment and become equal to all Buddhas. For the yoga of Akshobhya or the Great Vajradhara, from the seed syllable ཧཱུཾ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari: हूँ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum), contemplate oneself as the essence of all Vajra families, as the Great Vajradhara. The yogi who achieves accomplishment through this contemplation will have a mind that is inseparable from the Vajra. For the yoga of Amitabha or Vajradharma, reside in the center of one's own mandala, and from the seed syllable ཨཱཿ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari: आः, Romanized Sanskrit: āḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Ah), contemplate oneself as an eight-petaled lotus accomplished from the minute particles of all Padma families. If accomplished, one will become a Dharma holder. "The color resembling the color of the five rays of light, contemplate the sword with one's own mantra." Etc., through the yoga of Amoghasiddhi, reside in the center of the mandala of Amoghasiddhi, and from one's own mantra, contemplate a sword in the right hand. In the mandala of Vairochana, through the yoga of Vairochana, the yogi who has obtained the sign, make a pill the size of a chanaka bean by wrapping the form of one's own deity with three iron wires, and contemplate it as the essence of ཨོཾ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ओँ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om), then put it in the mouth and contemplate one's own deity entering into the pill, then one will achieve accomplishment. Similarly, for the families of desire and hatred, one should also accomplish the pill from the seed syllable ཨཱཿ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari: आः, Romanized Sanskrit: āḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Ah) and the seed syllable ཧཱུཾ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari: हूँ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum) through the yoga of one's own deity. "Residing in the center of clear space." Etc., for the mandala of Vairochana, contemplate the sky as white, and then through the yoga of Vairochana, reside in the center of the mandala, and from the seed syllable ཨོཾ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ओँ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om), generate a wheel in the right hand and contemplate it. "Residing in the center of the vajra of space." Etc., contemplate the expanse of space as the nature of vajra. On top of that, reside in the center of the mandala of Akshobhya as before, and from the seed syllable ཧཱུཾ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari: हूँ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum), generate a vajra in the right hand and contemplate it, which is the wisdom of the vajra.
