Chapter Ten: Explanation of What is Called "Inciting the Essence of All Tathagatas." Chapter Ten: Explanation of What is Called "Inciting the Essence of All Tathagatas." After completing the meditation on the vajra-fine and so on, the yogi who practices the asceticism correctly for six months should incite with the essence for seven days, practice yoga and draw the mandala. In order to show that one should enter into practice, the chapter on inciting the minds of all Tathagatas, beginning with "then," and so on, was taught. The so-called "great samaya vajra" is the nature of Dharmadhatu without beginning or end, Vajrasattva. Its Suchness is Samantabhadra, who possesses the bliss without outflows and the stream of mental bliss. Its complete enlightenment is the direct realization of that nature. Whatever is the secret of body, speech, and mind of that nature is what is called that. I prostrate to the Tathagata of such a nature. The so-called "essence mantra of all gathered," is the nature of the reality of the nature of body, speech, and mind, which is Suchness. That nature is the collection of the heart of mantras, that is, by meditating on Suchness, all mantras will be accomplished, therefore, the body, speech, and mind of that nature should be proclaimed without distraction. Great accomplishment is the accomplishment of the five families. Its method is meditation itself, therefore it is superior to the outstanding things, so it is supreme. The so-called "lord of the ocean of all afflictions," samsara is the ocean of all afflictions. Because it has become the master of that, it is the main one, that is, it has become the follower and guide of all sentient beings. The essence mantra of all gathered of that Suchness is taught, that is, "body, speech, and mind, etc.," the word "etc." includes others. The so-called meditation, how to meditate? That is, "non-conceptual," that is, free from conceptualization. Why is it non-conceptual? That is, "without object." In order to show the nature of without object, it is said, "not abiding anywhere, equality." That is, not abiding in the five aggregates, twelve sources, eighteen realms, and dependent origination, the grasped and the grasper.

Since it is free from the aspect of discrimination, it does not abide anywhere. Thus, a yogi who has completely meditated and is free from all discriminations is capable of benefiting sentient beings. Therefore, in order to show that one should meditate on wisdom endowed with skillful means, he spoke of "thereafter" and so on. Thereafter, the Blessed One spoke thus, and combined it by saying, "He spoke the collection of all mantras." Because it is free from attachment and so on, it is pure by nature. Having entered into samadhi called "Vajra, the nature of mantra of the Perfection of Wisdom," the sixteen perfections of wisdom, such as the Vajra Perfection of Wisdom, are the perfections of wisdom. The nature of its mantra is called the Vajra Perfection of Wisdom because it focuses on the samadhi that generates the essence, mudras, mandalas, and so on. Thus, since the samadhi of the Vajra, the nature of mantra of the Perfection of Wisdom, has become a skillful means, in order for all the Tathagatas to take hold of sentient beings who engage in desire, together with the vidya goddesses, they show the supreme enjoyment with the five desirable qualities, which shows that future beings are also happy to combine themselves with this path that has wisdom and skillful means, therefore he spoke of "Blessed One" and so on. Those who are diligent in practicing mantras do not live on eye-food, because they are delighted by the uncontaminated bliss of non-discrimination and mental bliss. This especially shows that those who are diligent in practicing mantras do not live on eye-food, because the union of wisdom and skillful means can benefit sentient beings, but wisdom alone is not enough. Therefore, those who wish to benefit sentient beings should not practice yoga that relies solely on wisdom. If that is the case, then what dharma should be practiced? It is that which lives on eye-food. Alas! These people have perfected the Dharma through the practice of the mantras of all the Tathagatas! Thinking thus, he spoke of "Alas" and so on. The word "Alas" is to be grasped. "These people" refers to the five letters used in the practice of the five families mentioned below, and then he spoke these words. The Tathagata
