Chapter Two: Explanation of the Mind of Enlightenment. Chapter Two: Explanation of the Mind of Enlightenment. Those who wish to practice yoga should aspire to great enlightenment and understand the meaning of great enlightenment through the mind of hearing and thinking. Therefore, the chapter on the mind of enlightenment is taught, starting with "Then." The word "Then" means immediately after. It should be used in conjunction with "Having prostrated to the Bhagavan, I requested as follows." Also, one should make offerings with forms and sounds, and connect with "Please explain," requesting the explanation of the mind of enlightenment. Indicating its particularity, it starts with "Essence." Because the realm of Dharma is the nature of beginninglessness and endlessness, it is called essence. This indicates the self-nature of the Dharmakaya. "Supreme of body, speech, and mind" means that because cause and effect are closely connected, the nature of skillful means is taught in conventional truth. Thus, this teaches the mind of enlightenment, which is the nature of wisdom and skillful means. Then, it should be connected with the Bhagavan's words to those Bodhisattvas. "Knowing with his mind the complete thoughts of all Bodhisattvas" means that if the Bhagavan were to generate the mind of great enlightenment in order to perfect our body, speech, and mind, it would be excellent, because he knows that there is such a thought in the mind. "Your mind is like a body" means that the body of all Tathagatas is like a dream, because in ultimate truth it is the nature of non-existence. "Body is like mind" means that this nature of the mind vajra is also like an illusion, because it is the nature of emptiness. "Generate mind like speech" means that this nature of the speech vajra is like an echo, because there is no cause of birth. That is, as it is said below, "The vajra of body, complete enlightenment, analyzing existence and non-existence." Furthermore, "The vow of speech

Perfect Enlightenment. Speech and non-speech are distinguished. Thus it is said, the vow of the heart is perfect enlightenment. The abiding vajra is distinguished. Thus it is said. This meaning is that the body, speech, and mind of all the Tathagatas are compared to the sky, which means the essence of emptiness. O, in words such as O, the word O means wonder. The name Samantabhadra, although it shows acting in desire and so on, is not stained by the faults of desire and so on, so it is called Samantabhadra. Such Samantabhadra, the body, speech, and mind of the Great Vairocana Buddha, are unborn in the ultimate sense, born only as an illusion like a dream, so this is the principle of no birth. Thus, after the Bodhisattva generates the great Bodhicitta, in order to cause future beings to generate it, he speaks from then on and so on. The complete enlightenment of all the Tathagatas is the realm of Dharma Dhatu, which is originally without beginning and end. Its principle is that the Dharma Dhatu is originally without beginning and end, which is the wisdom of the nature of hearing, thinking, and meditating. That is the Vajra, and the Samadhi focused on it is called thus. There is no meditation because there is no object. The so-called no object is that the nature of duality appears as these objects, so it is an object. Because there is no object, it is no object, that is, the non-discriminating wisdom and the Suchness of all dharmas, the nature of no object is no object. Thus, the practice of no object, whether it is the meaning of seeing, hearing, or thinking, whatever is repeatedly manifested does not exist in Suchness and non-discriminating wisdom. Therefore, there is no practice in no object, so there is none. If the meaning of seeing, hearing, and thinking is practice, then it becomes an object, in order to eliminate this fault, it is said: what is practiced is not practice. Thus it is said. This means: if practice is the nature of practice,

If it can be accomplished, then at that time, the nature of meditation will only become things, that is, become the nature of things such as the body. At any time, the same cause and effect in the conventional, that is also unborn in the ultimate, therefore, what is to be meditated is not meditation. That is what is said. Therefore, it is said that it is like that without things. Because things do not arise in the ultimate, therefore the nature of meditation will not become things. Therefore, meditation will not become an object. That is what is said. Therefore, it is just like a dream, it is confusion. The realization of all Tathagatas is the realization that the body of Bhagavan Vairochana is the nature of the Vajra without things. That is the Vajra, abiding in the Samadhi called "That". Abiding in the wisdom called "This". Separated from all things. The so-called "separated from all things", because it is both things and everything, so it is all things. The five aggregates, eighteen realms, twelve places and twelve links of dependent origination are all things, because they are separated from them, so the self-mind has not arisen from the beginning. This is what is said: Aggregates, realms and places, what is grasped and what grasps are all abandoned. What is grasped is the nature of the object, and what grasps is consciousness. That is abandoning the aggregates, realms and places, as well as what is grasped and what grasps. Also, how are those abandoned? Because the Dharma is selfless, it is equal. This is what is said. The aggregates, realms, places and dependent origination are the nature of no things in the ultimate, so it is Dharma selflessness, because it is the nature of being separated from self, so it is selflessness, that is, no things. That is equality, the indivisibility of all things. Therefore, that becomes the cause, and the minds of all sentient beings have not been from the beginning.
