The way it arises is like the expression of erecting walls and placing them in the sky. "This" means to keep in mind, which means to fully proclaim and demonstrate. Thus, for the Bodhisattvas who are dedicated to showing accordance with those who have severed their lineage and those whose lineage is uncertain, the mind of Bodhi is shown. Now, for the Tathagatas who possess the nature of sentient beings with definite lineages, in their name, it is said, "From then on," and so forth, and it is connected to "said." The complete perfect enlightenment of all Tathagatas is the realization of emptiness and other similar causes through the gate of liberation, as well as the five wisdoms like a mirror. The way of that is that it is the method to realize it, and that itself is the Vajra. In order to show that meaning, it is said to make the mind one-pointed. For the sake of sentient beings who have actions aimed at objects, it is said, "No object," and so on. Because the nature of the thoroughly examined objects, etc., is eliminated by dividing them into minute particles, etc., it is without object. Therefore, that is without meditation and is emptiness. If all dharmas are said, this is a manifestation of attachment. That is non-existent, and if meditation is not accomplished, then it can only be emptiness. In order to negate the characteristics, it is said, "One should meditate," and so on. The object of meditation, which has the aspect of emptiness, is not reasonable. Because where a vase is fixated upon and it does not exist, it should be said that this is a place empty of the vase. If even this meditation itself is not accomplished, how can emptiness be accomplished? It is said: "Non-existence is led by existence." In order to negate aspiration, it is said, "Thus," and so on. Like that, similarly, the result that is completely conceived through the door of aspiration is also non-existent. Because objects and characteristics have been negated, there is no object of aspiration for eons, no agent of aspiration, and no object of aspiration.

Thus. Secondly, regarding the meaning of "now" is: Where, the object of going and the goer, and without the goer, to meditate, the object of meditation and the meditator are all absent. Thus it is said. Because the result of cutting off is uncertain, it shows that complete enlightenment is one's own mind. Because there is a saying, "Only knowing one's own mind as it is, is enlightenment." In order to eliminate the characteristic of fabrication, it is said, "Therefore, by cultivation," and so on. The so-called "therefore" is from the aspect of showing the meaning of the verses. Cultivation, that is, there is no object with the appearance of things, etc., and it is not existent, that is its general meaning. These sentences should be understood as showing the door of liberation that is the antidote to things, etc., that is, the four emptinesses, etc. Among them, the dharmadhatu without beginning or end should be said to be the most excellent city of liberation. Because the door and path to enter it are emptiness, etc., therefore, merely showing the door of liberation is showing the meaning of dharmadhatu. Therefore, the Bhagavan showed from the perspective of taking autonomy as the main thing, with different words, it is the nature of immovability. Again, showing the meaning of emptiness, etc., it is not merely negating things, but everything exists like the images appearing in a mirror. This shows the sutra of the Illuminating Adornment, which has the same cause as emptiness, the nature of wisdom like a mirror. Similarly, the sutra texts of the jewels, ornaments, etc., which have the same cause as signlessness, etc., the nature of equality wisdom, etc., are also shown. Thus, those sentient beings gain faith and thus can truly enter into cultivation, etc., therefore, the Bhagavan said thus, etc. Now, having understood the meaning of the verses of the Bodhicitta of the Bhagavan, in order to accomplish the meaning of the beings to be tamed through the doors of liberation of the Tathagatas themselves, (the verses are spoken).

The places to be severed have been spoken of. From then on, it should be added, "Spoken by the Blessed One Vairochana." The direct realization of all Tathagatas, that is, complete understanding, is Vairochana, the nature of wisdom like a mirror with the characteristic of arising images. The way of it is that it is the suchness that gives rise to it. Wherever that suchness is Vajra, it is called that there, meaning to focus the mind one-pointedly in the aspect of showing it. The meaning of the sutra is shown by "all things" and so on. "Separated from all things" means there is no attachment to things. What are things? They are the aggregates and so on. What is grasped is the nature of the object. The grasper is consciousness. They grasp like a dry iron ball, the grasped and the grasper are not found, because it is only the appearance of arising in an instant. Because it holds the self-characteristic and the common characteristic, it is Dharma, that is, the aggregates and so on that are merely the nature of afflicted and non-afflicted, as well as the ten powers, fearlessness, and so on, and the fifteen qualities of the source of the Buddha's qualities. These are without self-nature in the ultimate sense, which is the absence of self in phenomena. Wherever there is no self, that is, no self-nature, that is no self, and the thing without self is no self itself. That is equality, that is, all things are without difference. Therefore, by this cause, the minds of all sentient beings have not arisen from the beginning, and therefore it is the nature of emptiness. From then on, etc., should be added "has been said." The inexhaustible of all Tathagatas is the Dharmadhatu without beginning or end, in whatever samadhi, because it does not understand itself, it is Vajra, and it is called that there. Things are the aggregates and so on that have the nature of afflicted and non-afflicted, and the collection of qualities of the nature of the Vajra family, these unborn means have not appeared. Why is that? Because of "Dharma" and so on.
