Chapter Eight: Commentary on the Treatise Explaining the Vows of Excrement and Urine. Chapter Eight: Commentary on the Treatise Explaining the Vows of Excrement and Urine. Now, in the eighth chapter, the first part speaks of offering and supplication. It begins with "Then," and so on. "Precious Glory" is so-called because it arises from the perfection of accumulation, hence the request. As the master of body, speech, and mind, it is the supreme sovereign, the great Vajradhara himself. By praising him, one prays for the purpose of explaining the offering. Because the vajra is the source of all things, it is the essence of the vajra. Because one is to go here, it is the Great Vehicle. No matter how one practices, there is no object of focus, so it is the great purification of space. Because there is no fault in the three doors, it is Samantabhadra. Because it is superior to the offerings of outsiders, it is supreme. Because it has become the general form of Vairochana and others, it is the supreme king. Because desire and so on are shown as the path of the Vajrayana, it is the supreme, equal to the sphere of space, free from all faults. Because it is the first bodhisattva, it is the four kings. Liberation is great accomplishment. Its path is the two stages. Thus, it is well shown. Because it pervades the Shravakas and so on, it abides on the path of the three vehicles. Because it is the nature of all that is to be traversed, it is the Buddha-nature. Because it is free from the accidental, it is the lord of purity. Among people, because of the excellence of lineage and so on, it is the supreme among people. Because it is ultimately unchanging, it is the mind of enlightenment, the Dharmakaya. Having eyes adorned with marks and signs, it is the Sambhogakaya. Turning the wheel of Dharma twelve times and so on, it is the Nirmanakaya. That too, body, speech, and mind are extremely pure. Such is the great Vajrayana, as before. Now, beginning with "Then," and so on, it speaks of promising to explain the offering. Because it is the nature that does not change in the three times, all is the great letter of space. Thus it is said. Because it has become the sovereign of all, it is the master of all. The vajra itself is the jewel, the one who holds it. Because all the Tathagatas empower as the king of Dharma, it is the empowerment of all.

All meanings are complete. Therefore, it is entitled "Excellent Explanation of the Tathagata's Offering." What is it like? The indestructible three places reside. It means that the offering also resides in a place where body, speech, and mind are inseparable. By offering in this way, one possesses excellent fortune, hence it is called the emergence of the Victorious One with excellent fortune of body, speech, and mind. First, the vidya of offering is explained, such as "daughter," etc. A young daughter refers to one whose youth has not faded. A beautiful eye refers to looking slender and long without conceptualization. To adorn a beautiful form and other things means to adorn with this. Reaching the age of twenty-five means having a divine nature. Observing from animals means that it has melted like butter and has passed away, like the sorrowful sog le, it should be taken well. Now it is explained that the external place should be purified. "Place" and so on. A clean place means a clean mind. Abandoning the gathering of people means a solitary place. The self-nature of the Victorious One refers to the place where the Victorious One was born. A peaceful place refers to the place of the Shravakas. In that place, on a square platform, apply water or urine, etc., clean it, and offer to the Victorious One. Now it is explained that the vidya of purifying with the four intermediate fruits should possess the five families. "Between the breasts" and so on are explained. Between the breasts refers to the heart, where Akshobhya, transformed from Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ།,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) and vajra, is placed. Between the expanded brains refers to the center of the head, where the permanent one, transformed from Oṃ (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ॐ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡) and the wheel, is placed. Knowing the rituals means knowing the four branches of the intermediate approach and practice. The feet refer to the two thighs, where Amoghasiddhi, formed from Hā (藏文:ཧཱ།,梵文天城体:ह,梵文罗马拟音:ha,汉语字面意思:哈) and the sword, is placed. The navel and waist refer to wrapping from the navel, where Ratnasambhava, born from Svā (藏文:སྦཱ།,梵文天城体:स्वा,梵文罗马拟音:svā,汉语字面意思:斯瓦) and jewels, is placed. The secret place refers to placing Amitabha, born from Āḥ (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आ,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:阿) and the lotus. The son of the Victorious One refers to the Victorious One and his son, that is, the son of the Victorious One, and with special devotion, the second one should also be placed. Therefore, what is not mentioned in between is included in "between." The five families refer to placing the five families or parts. For the intermediate goddess, it is also explained not to meditate on the wisdom mind. Space
