Chapter Two: Commentary on the Treatise that Reveals the Mind of Enlightenment. Chapter Two: Commentary on the Treatise that Reveals the Mind of Enlightenment. Now, in order to dispel the clinging to things as real, the chapter on the Mind of Enlightenment, which cultivates the accumulation of wisdom preceded by great compassion, is spoken, beginning with "From that." "From that" means immediately after the previous chapter. The rest is connected as before. The nature of body, speech, and mind is "Thatness is supreme," meaning the ultimate Bodhicitta is unchanging. Because thatness has not become a common object, it is called "The Secret of all Tathagatas." Furthermore, that which is above all is the unsurpassed, and what is that? It is called the mind that is the essence of enlightenment. Because the essence is to be received. "Please explain that" is the request to explain the Mind of Enlightenment. Immediately after such a request, the master of body, speech, and mind, being one with compassion, shows that one should remain in equanimity and listen, which is indicated by "From that," and so on. The lord of body, speech, and mind is the great Vajradhara. "All the Tathagatas" refers to Akshobhya and others. They requested the explanation of the Mind of Enlightenment, and all the Bodhisattvas refer to Maitreya and others. The complete understanding of them is that the questions asked by the Tathagatas are not mistaken and will become of great meaning, so it is thought. "Mind" means that after knowing with the wisdom attained from subsequent realization, the teachings are bestowed. What is that? "You," and so on. "Mind like body" means to block the single mind without form. "Body like mind" means to negate the body that appears to be merely material. Therefore, the meaning is to make body and mind of one nature. By "purity like mind," it also blocks mere pure matter. "Generate mind like speech" means that because the single mind without form is blocked, purity and mind are also made inseparable. Thus, its meaning is that all three, body, speech, and mind, are only mind. That is, with the two emptinesses, connect to only mind, and listen with one-pointed attention. Now the listener, Bodhi

The Bodhisattvas, how to abide in the Bodhicitta, specially declared with intention, is written by the collector, starting from "Thereafter" etc. In order to compose according to the order of speech showing the nature of body, speech, and mind, it is like the sky, that is, the wisdom without object of focus. It is also mentioned that it is combined with emptiness. Speaking without being requested by others is a special declaration. What is that? That is, "Emaho" etc. The meaning of Samantabhadra is that he is the master pervading all dharmas. What is so amazing about that? That is, the nature of body, speech, and mind is great. How to abide? That is, with the union of no birth. It means, with the nature of pervasive discrimination, it is the union of birth. This protection is greatly proclaimed by the method of complete purification. It means, it is declared by the wisdom of non-duality, so it is Emaho. After speaking about the common Dharma nature of Bodhisattvas, now speaking about the Bodhicitta of the six Buddhas respectively, starting from "Thereafter" etc. In the way of manifest enlightenment, it is the Bodhicitta of great emptiness. Because it is indivisible, it is Vajra, that is, in the manner of the Great Vajradhara, entering into Samadhi and declaring. Similarly, the Samadhis of the respective lineages are in their respective wisdoms, and the teachers of their respective methods enter into Samadhi and declare the Bodhicitta. The meaning of non-existence is that if it is eliminated by the distinction of above and below, etc., then all dharmas of conditioned and unconditioned will become emptiness. Therefore, the object of that meditation does not exist. It means that clinging to emptiness is a view. Things to be meditated upon, etc., are things to be meditated upon by clinging to cause and effect. That is not meditation, that is, because cause and effect are not distinguishable. Thus, the meaning of things is the result of external forms of wishes. That is non-existent, meaning that apart from wisdom, it will not become a close object. Therefore, meditating like an external form of wish is
