A Commentary on the Difficult Points of the Abridged Stages, Beautiful Vajra. A Commentary on the Difficult Points of the Abridged Stages Beautiful Vajra. In Indian language: Pindikrama Panjika Tripadu. In Tibetan: A Commentary on the Difficult Points of the Abridged Stages. Homage to Vajrasattva! For the benefit of beings possessing the two extremes, Having realized and taught the Middle Way, Having paid homage to the noble son Nagarjuna, I will clarify the initial stages in brief. Here, the noble Nagarjuna, following the tantras that explain the Vajra Garland and others, having understood the meaning of the six perfections of the glorious Guhyasamaja, with compassion, intends to compose the Abridged Stages. Therefore, he speaks of paying homage to the Bhagavan, the nature of the four bodies, which is the so-called three realms and so on. Great bliss, that is, the body of the Victorious Ones, which is expressed by the term union, should be paid homage to, thus connecting it. Attached to how it has become, the unequal is equal, that is, the extremely uncommon. Why is that? It is said, "Unspeakable, non-conceptual body," that is, a body unstained by the defilements of conceptualization. Being without a second, it is unique. Where is the body adorned with the thirty-two marks and so on comfortable? Because it is the nature of non-conceptualization, it is said, "Liberating from the conduct of the three realms." The three realms are the three realms, that is, body, speech, and mind. Its conduct is universal conduct, from which it is liberated. If it were not so, then conceptualization itself would decline. Space-like conceptualization is for knowing that it is the same as space. The essence of all things is its own nature. With the two distinctions just mentioned, this shows the nature of luminosity. Purity is because it is the nature of completely pure wisdom. Peace is because it is free from the obscurations of afflictions, therefore it is devoid of obscurations and appears peaceful. The nature of supreme peace is because it is the nature of unsurpassed nirvana. Only yogis can realize it, because it is the nature of all Buddhas. Difficult to realize because the bodhicitta...

Because things like 'A' are not manifest. It is difficult to practice because those are not to be inferred. The supreme benefit for oneself and others is because from that arises the enjoyment body, oneself attains perfect bliss, and because the noble Avalokiteśvara and others accomplish deeds. This speaks of the nature of the enjoyment body. Pervasive because it is the nature of the infinite emanation body that is fully generated into the enjoyment body. This speaks of the nature of the emanation body. Absence of characteristics is because from entering into the clear light, when the characteristics of habit disappear, it arises from the aspiration made in the past. After prostrating to such a Bhagavan. 'Pa' is said to distinguish the chapters of the practice method, such as glorious. The practice method of the glorious gathering tantra, the concise order, I will speak, thus connecting. For the benefit of all sentient beings, this is done by saying 'birth' etc. Since there are many practice methods, one might think, what is the use of this? The meaning of the six limits is realization. Thus it is said, the six limits are the distinctions of what is said, speaking with hidden intent, and speaking without hidden intent, and speaking literally, and speaking non-literally, and the nature of the meaning of definitive and interpretable, whichever meaning it has, that is how it is said, from realizing it, that is, from fully knowing, what I must speak is, we speak with six limits, it is necessary to explain the reason, therefore the practice method is done for the purpose of entering the tantra. Other practice methods are not a means of entering the tantra, this is what it means. Is there no need, being endowed with realization, is there no entry? Therefore, to dispel the doubt of what is the need for meditating on the concise order, two verses are spoken that undertake the need, such as 'thought'. The meaning of non-existence, to discriminate and establish with discrimination, is discrimination, that is, ignorance. That itself is habit, that is, the generator.
