The so-called 'Salva' refers to the manifestation of luminosity through moments or instants, etc. For as long as one maintains equanimity in meditation, all phenomena manifest as emptiness. This is what is said. Then, who sees it? It is seen by the eye of wisdom. This is what is said. To elaborate on the method of attaining it, it will be explained below that one 'focuses on two types of meditation.' Examples are given, mentioning rivers or lotus water, etc. The meaning of these also converges on making it emptiness. What is its name? It is called 'Complete Holding.' Because the scriptures are extensive, fearing (too much content), the categories of names are not explained. Then, one might wonder, how is emptiness known? The Guhyasamaja Tantra, etc., are mentioned. There is a hidden meaning in this. One might wonder, from other great yoga tantras, it is mentioned 'transcending all limbs,' etc. 'Transcending all limbs' means being completely separated from the limbs of the body and the limbs of the ritual. 'Abandoning the aggregates of concepts' means abandoning the concepts of the grasped and the grasper. 'Transcending curves, arising, bindu' means being free from their forms. This is the supreme mandala, meaning the king of mandalas. Regarding 'form and formlessness, immaculate,' it has already been explained. The others are easy to understand. 'Emaho Sangye' etc., are prayers and praises for the sake of empowerment of wisdom and knowledge. Because of his prayer, the master bestows the empowerment of wisdom and knowledge. The others are easy to understand. This luminosity, its nature is to be free from all concepts. Because it is naturally luminous, and it eliminates the defilement of concepts, this is the reason. Learning and non-learning, and the luminosity of mind itself and objects, these are the classifications. The categories are mentioned here. That which completely cuts off the deep doubts of the sequences mentioned here is the cutting off of doubts. This is the explanation of the seventh chapter in the commentary on the Lamp for Compendium of Practice. Chapter Seven: Cutting off Doubts about the Summary of Ultimate Truth.
