The Explanation of the Intent of the Unexcelled Intent. The Explanation of the Intent of the Unexcelled Intent. Here, it is spoken by the supreme of the great noble ones, who possesses a mind difficult to realize. With the distinction of the three wisdoms, it is definitely combined with mind-only. As it is intended to explain this, the noble Shakya Mitra, the son of his heart, pays homage to Vajrasattva, who is to be gradually accomplished. It begins with "I prostrate to you." The four prostrations are to the Bhagavan who unites them in sequence, that is, the emptiness and the utter emptiness, and the nature of the great emptiness. The two-fold utterance of prostration is that it has become the very first to pervade emptiness. Praising you with different causes, and being equal to the nature of the Vajradhara, I prostrate to you, the nature of my own lineage. The reason for prostrating is for the sake of joy. Moreover, the Bhagavan who strives for the benefit of others, the fruit arising from the lineage of the one who prostrates, the Vajradhara, and in the state of the cause, the Tathagatagarbha, which is naturally completely pure, is fully needed, so by showing faith, prostration is supreme. Prostration is also supreme because it is satisfied with the one who is worthy of prostration, so it is the continuum of the words of praise. Thus, to whom does one prostrate to oneself, etc., because in the ultimate truth there is no distinction at all. In the conventional truth, how is it, etc. One's own wisdom is integrated and not different, and one's own awareness is the meaning of "it is prostration." Moreover, in each of their respective states, there is special faith, and in the state of the path, one is aware in some ways, but it is said that it is not in all ways. However, the all-knowing is the realization of the suchness of all dharmas in all ways. How is it that the naturally completely pure is not seen since it is always present? Because it is covered by the darkness of sudden ignorance. The way to dispel that darkness is to realize that the wisdom that appears like a lamp in the order of clarity, such as the very joyous, is not different from the four emptinesses. Therefore, the order of clarity and the order of realization.

It should be explained, such as emptiness. Being empty because it is separated from some apprehended concepts, it is the nature of joy and appearance. That which is extremely empty, having abandoned all apprehended concepts and some grasping concepts, is the nature of supreme joy and increasing appearance. Being separated from all grasping concepts is great emptiness, it is the definitive understanding of joylessness and attainment of appearance. As explained, the mind of bliss, being separate from the apprehended and the apprehender, is truly existent, but not separate from imputation. Therefore, all phenomena are of the nature of co-emergent joy, which is without inherent existence and of one taste in conventional truth. Such emptiness and so on will be explained in order to be easily realized through joy and so on. Here, emptiness and so on, in one instant, the nature of the path of seeing, the nature of the greatly joyful ground, is inseparable from the realization of co-emergent joy. It is established as if it were different due to different dependencies. Just as seeing the truth in one instant is like sixteen instants. Thus, here, this is the illusory body of the nature of great compassion, which is of one taste with the four emptinesses. The ultimate of great bliss, the union of appearance, is especially believed in advance. The fruit of meditation is the nature of the path of seeing. Thus, by meditating on this seeing in successive stages, at the end of the ten grounds, at the end of the exhaustion of all imputed habitual tendencies, the nature of luminosity arises, it is said, and is called wisdom. Because the category of habitual tendencies is abandoned from the path of seeing, the wisdom that becomes special is wisdom, that is, appearance. Because it is the cause of subsequent realizations, it is skillful means, that is, increasing appearance. These two are inseparable, it is the attainment of appearance, that is, the cause. After that, the result that is of one taste with it is luminosity, having abandoned all darkness of conceptual thought without remainder. Thus, the nature of the uninterrupted path, purified by the order of causes, from that, the four emptinesses, and the nature of the three aspects of one nature, the nature of great bliss, possessing all aspects such as power and clairvoyance, the union of the Sambhogakaya nature, clear with signs and examples, Vajradhara.
