All are wind and consciousness perfectly blended. Then the nature of the three consciousnesses appears, and is fully and clearly experienced, and the causes of appearance give rise to the natures. With these summarized words, the summary of the extensive explanation is to be revealed, and first of all, the names of the three consciousnesses are to be explained. That is, the Blessed One explained with the clear meaning of the names wisdom and means, which implies the neuter word, but the wisdom that is close to being attained is not clear. Therefore, the names mind, intellect, and consciousness, as well as the imputed, the dependent, the perfectly established, desire, hatred, ignorance, and the three natures, etc., are common to the Mahayana. In this Vajrayana, the names spoken are: appearance, increasing appearance, obtained appearance, emptiness, extreme emptiness, great emptiness, mind and mental factors, ignorance, desire, freedom from desire, and intermediate desire. Thus, having shown the names of the mind, now it is to be shown relying on the own characteristics of the nature of self-cognition. The Blessed One said that the mind is without shape, without color, and has the characteristic of space. Also, the Blessed One said that the characteristics of appearance and the characteristics of subsequent experience should be distinguished separately. Therefore, one should enter into its oral instructions, like this: first is universal appearance, and then is nature. Among them, appearance, increasing appearance, and obtained appearance, these three are appearances. So, what is the characteristic of appearance? It is the nature of no form, without body and without speech. Just as in the autumn when the sky is without stain, the light of the moon appears and pervades, so in the form of self-luminousness, it is appearance because it is focused on all things without remainder. This is the wisdom appearance of the ultimate Bodhicitta, the first emptiness, called A (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思), relying on the door of speech.

It is the cause of stabilizing the seed, because sentient beings with little faith cannot comprehend what the Tathagata thinks and says, so they visualize it as the shape of the moon's mandala, or a lotus, or the shape of a woman, or the name of the left, or the name of the night, and gentle things, which are the clear forms of mental constructs. What is the characteristic of increasing appearance? That is also the nature of being free from grasping and being grasped, without form, without body and speech. Just as the sun's rays pervade in autumn, it is extremely clear and in the nature of immaculate essence, visualizing all things as the second Samantabhadra of Bodhicitta. The second stage is the nature of extreme emptiness, called Ah (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Chinese literal meaning: Ah), which is the cause of stabilizing the seed by relying on the gate of speech, because sentient beings with little faith cannot comprehend what the Tathagata thinks and says, so they rely on the mandala of the sun for visualization, or a five-pronged vajra, or a jewel, or daytime, or the shape of a man, or the right side, the rough appearance is the form of mental constructs born from the mind. What is the attainment of appearance? Similarly, the nature of space, the form without things, without body and speech, just as the darkness that falls on the borderlands, pervading with subtlety and selflessness, life and effort do not flow, so there is no flow, no mind, unmoving, relying on the seed of speech, called the gate completely accomplished, this is called the attainment of appearance, is the nature of ignorance, is the great emptiness, is said to be the three consciousnesses. Thus, after explaining the oral instructions of all Buddhas, the nature of the three emptinesses, now we will separately explain how to establish the arising of nature when each wisdom arises. Among them, the nature of wisdom is being free from desire, being intermediate from desire, and being extremely free from desire, and wherever the mind goes and comes, and sorrow and intermediate sorrow, and extreme sorrow, and peace, and discrimination, and fear, and intermediate fear, and extreme fear, and craving, and intermediate craving, and extreme craving, and clinging.
